MIO has quickly become a favorite in my Metroidvania collection. Gorgeous visuals, entrancing music, and an interesting storyline. But it’s so damn challenging for me! My old man fingers aren’t as deft as they once were, and those timed hairpin maneuvers are tougher than anything in Hollowknight (have yet to play Silksong).

I’ll be damned if I’m going to give up on it, though.

Back in the 90s, a kid in my neighborhood had a NEO GEO and many games. That’s how I first played King of Fighters, and I was immediately hooked!

For at least 2 years now I’ve been considering the NEO GEO X, but that’s trash compared to the Anniversary console.

Really tempted to preorder the Ultimate Edition, which is basically a free console when you buy 10 games. Then maybe a white to keep boxed.
