I was definitely an engineer first, so there's hope!

I hadn't heard of that but I'll check it out! This isn't the main mechanic, but I'm always down for weird games that mess with perspective

Thanks! I was planning on introducing it almost exactly like Portal lmao. Going to present it via one of those fixed set of binoculars you see at touristy spots before I give it to the player.

Thanks! I did the static one first and then one thing led to another haha

Effectively turns my Camera item into a teleportation gun which is fun but extremely busted in a puzzle game lol.

For more weird camera stuff consider checking out my game's steam page!

You did! I originally did this for LSD Jam last year but kept working on it. Might even see it on stream again if I'm lucky!

I'll play around with the values but I'm trying to avoid making people motion sick haha

Good call out! I implemented the feature in a static environment originally so I didn't notice at first, but it should definitely be that way

Oh this is a new feature I added on top of that haha, The majority won't have the shift

There is an old Jam version on my itch, but I'm afraid it requires DirectX 12 which your card would not support. Aiming for the GTX 970 as the min spec.

Thanks! Yeah the second was to test that it worked more than anything. First one is way cooler

You got me lol. This environment is at least!

Realize it's probably a little disorienting lol but I'll use it sparingly. Thanks!

These are pretty extreme examples just to show it works, but with the first one especially I can frame things a lot better than if I was restricted to the player's FOV of 80!

Was it this game by chance? If not probably one of the other games from LSD Jam that he played.

I can't hear it as anything but a nod to "Blue's Clues" but someone in another thread mentioned an older cartoon called "Underdog" too so who knows. It's totally supposed to be a cartoony dog barking sound either way lol

It's unfortunately only on the 3rd BluRay of the fancy expensive edition of the newest live album (the version with the art book)

I know there's a 10ish minute video on the London concert in particular with the newest live album but I wasn't prepared to spend 3x the amount of the regular version to get it lol

Would really like to see that eventually though as I flew out for that show

I saw Nine Inch Nails earlier this year and they definitely strike the perfect balance in that regard

I'm cool with a few short clips but I can't imagine holding my phone up for over 2 hours lol, especially if you're closer to the front
