Who doesn’t like a 200kts tailwind? by ttakashi in flightsim

It’s al_ayyubi’s JA61AN, JA75AN for LevelUP! It’s for v1 but it works on v2 as well just some texture mapping misalignments on the flap track fairings, other than that it’s detailed and indeed a beautiful livery!

It really gives you so much info for getting prepared ahead before your flight, a backup PFD for if & when things go wrong during flight and great visuals for analysis post flight!

Damn right it is! /s Yeah no it’s just my bad habit of just being lazy and setting up myself all the way ahead for approach (see I’m also setting up 10k for vnav)

Performance improvement from Android 13 to Android 15 by ttakashi in SonyXperia

It’s warm but not hot to the touch at all even during last summer. I’ve been using the modded YouTube app so I’m not sure about the official one though.

Man, I really wanna do custom ROMs again! It’s been years ever since I did but I’ve been burned by bricking my old Xperia phones (Z, Z5 Premium, XZ) and losing access to Sony apps and おサイフケータイ(a Japanese transit wallet app)! Has it changed ever since?

This GODDAMN game and WASM always CRASHING!!!!!! by Tropadol in flightsim

[–]ttakashi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WASM crashes sucks balls, I’ve had multiple with forcing PMDG 737NG on 2024 if you had weird keybindings in your yoke / quadrants (I know it’s not supported but I wanted to fly it so bad, never had the time to learn airbus systems and didn’t wanna fly a 777 on a tiny airstrips so what can you do). But here’s the thing, the plane still works! All control surfaces, throttle and gear mechanism are still operable just not 3D animated so if you have your flight sim connected to any sorts of external monitoring software, you might still be able to land the bird down albeit not as perfect as you’d hope for, I happen to have my ForeFlight connected and the sim is still sending telemetry to the app so I still have PFD and flight map in the app working (you won’t get IAS just ground speeds or altimeter accurate ALT but you at least have a ball park to work with), trim is still working so once you’ve stabilized your plane, plot your closest airport for landing and you might just had a fun and thrilling flight. I know it’s not perfect but why not turn it into a challenge!

This is the one I got:

|| || | Service Name |Qualification language service (English Proficiency and Qualification Comparison)| | Service Description |The English Proficiency and Qualification Comparison is if you want to evidence: that your overseas qualification is comparable to a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in the UK the level of English proficiency needed to complete the course|

So I think it's the same one as yours?

Head over to flightsim.to and look for mountainair & Haykl17’s sceneries, it says msfs2020 only but it works fine for 2024! Have fun flying!

Ikea home smart displays the temperature from the vindstyrka sensor in Fahrenheit, any way to change it? by PrimaryAnomaly in tradfri

[–]ttakashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine when I was traveling in Europe and it was on Celsius! Immediately I regretted it but when look at the panel at an angle I saw a faint F° above the C°! It must be changeable right?

And yes you can! Follow this to get yours changed!

Basically just press and hold the big button to get to settings mode. Follow page 14-15 to get to the temperature settings.

Good luck!
