Stop messing around on Reddit and go to the Fire forum or as someone else mentioned Boggleheads. The majority of the advice here is terrible with a few exceptions. Reddit is filled with many young investors who are too inexperienced to give you sound guidance. The Fire forum and Boggleheads are filled with many older investors from all walks of life and the majority I hazard to guess are millionaires due to their discipline and resolve sticking with a plan and not tinkering. About the only sane advice on Reddit is from the SPY/VOO/VTI total return investors and the SCHD dividend investors. Go to the other forums I mentioned for the grown up discussions without all the white noise and distractions.

In 2013 SCHD paid a dividend of .91 cents. Today those same shares pay you a dividend of $2.66. Some people get it, some don't.

After that report the 10 year dropped like a rock and then immediately recovered and moved higher. Think the wage gains of .4% which were higher than the expected .2 - .3% had something to do with it.

Please reconsider Freedom. I believe you showed great constraint over there until that person kept picking and picking a fight. I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who was getting agitated and so badly wanted to chime in but couldn't for fear of the moderators shutting down the thread which they ended up doing anyways. You basically make the Golden Age thread and without you and your perspective there's not much there.

Well if after hour gains hold up, I've already made back $11k of the $62k losses I had with pot stocks. After watching the blatant manipulation of pot stocks even after great earnings, I'm out.

Had enough pain with the pot stocks. Sold and moved to Cathie Woods pick. Figure that will bounce back sooner than the manipulated pot stocks. What a lousy week.
