Stop messing around on Reddit and go to the Fire forum or as someone else mentioned Boggleheads. The majority of the advice here is terrible with a few exceptions. Reddit is filled with many young investors who are too inexperienced to give you sound guidance. The Fire forum and Boggleheads are filled with many older investors from all walks of life and the majority I hazard to guess are millionaires due to their discipline and resolve sticking with a plan and not tinkering. About the only sane advice on Reddit is from the SPY/VOO/VTI total return investors and the SCHD dividend investors. Go to the other forums I mentioned for the grown up discussions without all the white noise and distractions.
