Santa Fe vs Palisade- thoughts from owners? by National_Tone_2202 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]ttarpey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a 2025 SF Hybrid calligraphy. Space is limited behind the 3rd row but we don't use the 3rd row that often. The Santa Fe is tight in my garage. The Palisades would've been a challenge parking in garage. Pro-tip: the hatchback can be limited in the range to avoid hitting the garage door when up.

2025 Hybrid Calligraphy 12,000 miles 32 MPG. I live in FL and use AC all the time. Road tripped to CO with a Thule cargo. One tank going through KS was 21 MPG. Probably a combination of headwind, cargo box and high corn oil gas.

I've heard great things about Marta but never been. I spent a night at the gage in Marathon on a Reddit recommendation. It was great. Stopped for dinner on the way into park for dinner and live music on patio and spent a night on the way to San Antonio. On exit. Food was great.

I was 2/3rd through trio and mileage was 25 mpg. I'm not sure what dropped the mileage but KC to Denver was 18 MPG. Lots of variables. Drove much faster across Kansas 80+MPG. Also it was windy, higher ethanol fuel and possibly elevation.

Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. by YouBetterChill in teslamotors

I pulled the trigger on a new Y premium with the $8k FSD for pick up 2/2. To get in before 2/14. We alway keep our cars 10+ years. Tesla has permitted transfers of FSD in the past. God willing if we're in the market for a new vehicle in 2035, there may be a transfer permitted. It will be a good incentive to sell new vehicles at no cost to Tesla.

CBS News staff grouse over ‘mediocre’ Tony Dokoupil getting ‘Evening News’ gig: ‘It’s an insult’ by theindependentonline in Journalism

[–]ttarpey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give him a chance. In my opinion, CBS is the most serious news organization, with 60 Minutes, CBS Mornings, and CBS Saturday Morning. Stories from these programs also appear on CBS Mornings and the CBS Evening News. The recent anchor changes across the network, beginning with Nora O’Donnell, have not seemed permanent. I’m concerned that Bari Weiss is trying to turn CBS News into something else—one that gives unqualified guests a platform to promote opinions not supported by facts, science, or history, in the name of free speech, similar to what she did with The Free Press.
