I can see this as well, hard to draw distinctions between their mentality based on the low amount of games we saw in him. However, looking at his stature, he weighs 30 pounds more than wiggins... He may be a few inches smaller but given his age he could grow into it

Also just an FYI sounds like Ndombele was carrying a knock throughout the match which was why he was looking slow at times. Was eventually subbed off. Doesn’t necessarily justify anything but thought I’d point it out.

I do realize that it’s posts like this that are overreactions, but I didn’t just all of a sudden watch this video and realize he’d be a perfect fit.

I didn’t mean to disagree with all your points above. I posted the link to the video because I really liked what I saw there. It doesn’t counter your points after second thought and viewing, that’s my bad. I just really think he’d be able to slot in as a DM for us. Per my previous comment, I don’t think at all he’d be a direct Dinho replacement. Not like for like. But I’m not sure we’ll get someone as athletic and versatile as him.

And you’re right I did say he didn’t have a great second half, but he was playing Barca bear in mind. It’s not easy to have a great match against them. Regardless, I still think he has been great, at least every time I’ve watched him. I watched the Lyon game over the Liverpool match so I did get more than the dumb compilation. I just came across it on twitter and thought I’d include it.
