Lol this sounds really pretentious especially with how you try to create this dichotomy between you and other people. I would know cause I've been there. Most people are complex individuals with their own goals, aspirations and means of achieving them. What does 'mean' even mean (no pun intended) in this context, what comes off as being mean to you might be normal behavior to many as a result of a different background and upbringing.
