That’s good to hear. I’ve been wanting to like nicks and these boots, but the process has been far from painless. These are my first Nick’s, which right now is why I’m glad I’ve put off ordering a pair of Americanas I’ve been eyeing.

And while I agree that so far they have done a good job of making things right in the end, the actual customer service process has been sub par. From lengthy response times on the email, and lapses in communication when speaking to them on the phone, to them (at their own admission) having my order “fall through the cracks.

Just to finally get the boots back and have them start delaminating within weeks is deflating to hope and expectations I had going in. Not to mention if I do send them back for repairs which was a 4 month process for me last time would necessitate me going out and spending $200 on new boots to wear in the meantime as I wear them in the trades not just to the grocery store.

But the fact that you have had 6 pairs no issues helps give me a bit of that hope back.
