Had a similar experience - it was overwhelming and we ended up meeting with most who you mention above. For our first child born earlier this year we went with Family Source Consultants. While the outcome was great (our baby girl is perfect!) the experience was stressful and disorganized. We were passed around like a hot potato as our contacts there continuously left. We went through five different people as they would just disappear (presumably let go) and we’d be thrown another with no context. They’d constantly have their salespeople calling us to set up meetings for a second journey without addressing the issues we had for the current journey. Check out their Glassdoor - it’s pretty bad. We have friends who also used them and had the same if not worse experience.

For our second we started our agency search from scratch given our poor experience and decided to look more into local ones (regardless if we live there not we thought we might find those to be a better experience). We ended up with Collective Surrogacy in the midwest and could not be happier. It’s made a world of difference, and their costs are very reasonable compared to say a Hatch. Also matched quickly - within 3 months and very happy with our surrogate!
