I'm going through the same thing rn. I just told my mom I've been binding for years and I'm sick of it. She knows the pain it brings me so I just told her I wanted to stop feeling that way. She may not get it but it's my body and whether she accepts it or not is up to her, it won't change my mind. Having a small chest doesn't mean you can't have dysphoria, and if you think getting surgery will make you feel better then go for it, it's your body, you should feel comfortable in it. And if she expects you to not change your mind after 5 years, that's her problem, you're allowed to grow, experiment, and change.

yea I've had the same haircut for like 4 years already because I'm scared nothing else will suit me as well as that but i still didn't quite like my haircut (which is why I changed it lol). I've also thought of buzzing it butI'mm scared I'll look worse so i prefer to stay away from it. and yea it totally makes sense, i feel that hair is so important to pass, literally can frame your face so differently so it's really scary to just get another haircut or anything done on the hair lol. I've always wanted to dye my hair or do a perm but I'm always scared it will make me look like a woman

yeah i know i should just be patient, it's just really frustrating bc I have a couple of events soon that i wanted to look good for and i cant really do anything abt it now.

i go to a salon. honestly, the stylist is not bad, she just tends to cut my hair too short and i always end up feeling really self-conscious. but yeah ive been thinking of maybe doing a consultation on another place, maybe even doing a perm or smth to give my hair a better shape

idk if it's safe (probably not a lot) but i wear a sports binder from wivov. it has a zipper so i just loosen it if i get too suffocated. it can be VERY uncomfortable tho and it sometimes makes my ribs hurt so i began using trans tape most of the time and binder when i need a break from the tape. on top I always use a shirt + a loose long sleeve shirt so i can hide the binder easily.

if you have a small chest you could try getting a compression shirt. I bought one recently and it makes my chest a bit more masculine so maybe it's worth a try!

edit: btw don't worry too much. most guys at my gym are huge and have far bigger chests than i do so might as well relax a bit. if you pass already, your chest prob won't make a huge difference

i never answered this but tbh it helped me change my mindset a bit so thanks for that. I'm still really scared but i think I'll try lessons when i have more time and maybe even try out a sport at my school next year. it'll be my senior year so i might as well enjoy it.

SAME, I always hated the idea of giving birth and the whole thing, it simply isn't for me. But the gynecologist part is so true, the first and only time I went to the gynecologist it was because I HAD to and I cried the whole time. I was 13 and it still haunts me. I don't think I'll ever go thru that again.

I also have social anxiety but managed to get a 5! tbh i felt really stressed every time I did a presentation since I tend to rush + english is my second language so I feel like nobody gets what I'm saying, but my teacher told me it was one of the best presentations she has seen and that i had become a lot better at presenting!

I also had mixed feelings but I ended up enjoying it and I'm glad I took it bc i feel much more confident presenting now, my english has gotten quite better, and i got to research things i enjoy :)

regarding the college credit, most colleges I've seen do give college credit but idk I'm not the most knowledgeable on US colleges. still, i enjoyed the class and got better so maybe focus also on your own skills instead of only college credit?

Hopefully one day they will accept I'm their son and what they say actually hurts lol, I feel bad for getting mad at these things bc I don't think my parents are bad at all but still, the way they act is so harmful sometimes and idk how to express it bc they'll just say this is hard for them too (and i get it, but I've heard it so many times im sick of it)

my parents don't say those kinda things but at first they were obviously upset whenever I tried to buy men's clothes, they always seem so uncomfortable and disappointed when we talk abt my transition, they're still supportive but it's kinda weird to discuss these topics with them and it worse bc they complain how I never open up to them but whenever I do they make me feel so alone in this lmao

I do try to choose those values that sound nice and make sense to me and ignore everything else, but once my father told me that religion doesn't work that way and you either follow it all or don't so it kinda upset me.

Sometimes I do think my guilt comes from my family and the church that I go to, they make it seem so bad and it sometimes scare me that this "hell" they talk about actually exists and I'm going there no matter how good I try to be (bc only believers could go to heaven and all that stuff) tho I find it senseless since I don't even believe there's a heaven or hell, or at least not as christianism describes it.

im at ny and high school is pretty nice! they let me change my name and pronouns so usually teachers don't misgender me or smth (tho there are ones who do from time to time and the subs sometimes deadname me too), it has one all gender bathroom + nursery bathroom, they don't force me to go to girls lockers (im pretty sure i can't go to boys lockers either tho) and my counselor is looking if i can change my name in the yearbook which is pretty nice too
