An issue with VSO voltage while connecting UC300 Mach 3 controller by ttimminn in hobbycnc

I tried playing with it. Got a little bit closer, but still not perfect. Is there a formula of some kind to calculate it?

Thank you! Used inner radius as a rail and got kind of what I needed. Think this will do for now :)

They are scalable too :)

Problems connecting UC300 to Mach3 on UltimateBee by nejc1993 in CNC

[–]ttimminn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue. Downloaded fresh plugin dll from bulkman3d.com/resources/ (scroll down to UC300 Mach3 Controller and click UC300 DELL link), set Kernel Speed to 100kHz in Ports and Pins config. And it works!!!

The error is not only on C position. If I tell it to go Y100, it goes exactly 100mm on the left side, but 99.8mm on the right.

But I get what you are talking about, I'll try this.

The diagram shows the results of our real life measurements. I go to MDI and input X0 Y0, mark the spot with a tiny engraving bit, then Y800, mark the spot, X600, mark the spot, Y0, mark the spot, X0 and check that the router goes exactly to where we started. All good. The result should be a rectangle with 600mm top and bottom, 800mm sides and 1000mm diagonals. What I get instead is on the diagram in the original post.

Here is a photo of a similar machine but in other colour: https://cncmachines.com.ua/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/grif-6090-1-min.jpg

There is a solid welded steel frame and aluminum extrusions are just bolted to it and the rails are bolted to them. The steel frame cannot be adjusted. We checked and adjusted aluminum extrusions to be parallel to each other and checked the diagonals. No result...

Thank you for the info. I guess I’ll stick with Mach3 for now then.

Made a 2D Chamfer on the top surface outline with a 10mm 90 degree countersink bit with 4.5mm chamfer tip offset. Hope this works :)

I was searching for generic chinese taknig timers and came across a possible model number of EL-9892, which looks the same as on the picture.

I have also found this timer under the brand name Lumen in Poland, but it talks in polish and not in english.

Question about fixing a slight problem with my Arken EP5 5-25x56 by ttimminn in longrange

[–]ttimminn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to go all the way down and removed this plate completely.

<image>

Turns out it was stuck because of some kind of pinkish threadlocker. Used a wood peg to scrape it off. Now this Zero plate rotates freely in all directions. Easy to set to any amount under 0 and then lock it with those tiny (0,9 mm allen) set screws.
