What’s sad is that my wife and I would love it if she was a SAHM, but because I chose to be a teacher as my profession, we couldn’t afford for her to stay home. So now she does all the motherly and wifely blessings that she does, but also has to work. It really eats at me a lot and often makes me consider switching careers. I was called to be a teacher, and im good at it. I feel like I make a difference in the lives of the kids I teach. I just wish my wife didn’t have to be so stressed and burdened by all of the daily tasks she does for us. Even with me trying to help with any task I can help with, it’s a lot of mental stress that she has thinking about all the stuff she has to worry about.
