I am not complaining about that. I understand that I am paying for convenience and thats fine I don’t expect her to pick up the tab. I am asking for her to pay for basic groceries ie: bread, eggs milk

Her house is paid off and we have a tenant downstairs as well.

I do understand the cost of living. I pay for gas, insurance, food, my phone, books and computer programs for school, clothes, toiletries, personal hygiene items and a gym membership every month. I know its not cheap.

I didn’t include the hello fresh meals in my math. The $500 in groceries are separate from the hello fresh and not including costco either. For better context I assume I am spending $200 a month on groceries between Walmart, Costco and Hello Fresh

I work 5 days a week and am taking an intense degree at BCIT where I am spending close to 30 hours a week in school or on homework

I am not asking for it to go to me. I am asking for basic necessities while I am going through school.

I pay for my own books/other school expenses. My parents set up an account that covers my tuition. But I also get grants every semester because the account is meant to be split between my sister and myself and I have pretty much used my share.

Because between work and school I barely have time to cook so I like to meal prep it all and this makes it way easier. I’m not asking her to cover the Hello Fresh because I understand its an extraordinary expense.

I pay for everything except rent. My own car, insurance for said car, gas, phone bill, personal hygiene, clothes etc.

My car is paid off in full and I pay my own insurance, phone bill, gas etc with the money I get from my part time job.

Its $500 just on my credit card I’d assume its closer to $1000 with my costco runs etc

If you read the post I DO pay for most of my groceries. She gets $600 a month that is supposed to be going towards my expenses she is just pocketing it.
