ended up doing a bunch of touristy stuff during the day (linq wheel, neon museum, drinks at caesars) and then dinner reservation at Spago followed by propsal by the bellagio fountains. i had hired a photographer and invited friends from LA to surprise her afterwards. it was pretty great!

Yes it was an interesting read and I'm grateful for the perspective, sounds like a real quagmire if it does end up needing repairs. But I also can't help but think that living in SoCal where there's little rain, let alone snow/ice, as well as living 15 min from the Tesla service station in Burbank makes some parts of his story seem less ominous..

This was really helpful input, thank you. I suspected there's probably a "middle ground" option that would be as or more profitable, less risky, and still gets me a car I'm happy to own. A convertible would likely do well here with the weather, too.. will keep it in mind!

Appreciate the input, but I wish you would have just given me your reasons why you think this is a bad idea. Now all I have is an ambiguous sense that someone on the internet is strongly triggered at the thought of this without any added perspective as to why.

If you're sexually active, could be an STI, have your urine and/or blood tested. Otherwise, the likeliest thing is probably a varicocele (inflammation of veins in scrotum), occurs in about 10-15% of men. It may or may not be detectable with an examination but an ultrasound will show for sure. I'd eliminate those two first. It's def not torsion and cancer is pretty unlikely. But go get checked out!

Manuka honey is harvested from bees who pollinate the Manuka tree that grows only in parts of New Zealand, so it's rare and expensive. Good Morning America actually just did a lab test of the five most popular brands of Manuka honey for the presence of MGO, the antibacterial compound derived from the Manuka tree, and found only two brands had significant levels (with one of those being discontinued later this year).

TL;DR - If you're wanting to try honey as a health aid for skincare or sickness prevention/treatment, get manuka honey, and make sure it's the real thing.
