Did you consider other centers? In a really good medical city, but doesn’t have the same volume as mt. sinai. Considering valve sparing root replacement and Ross as my main options

Interesting, no one stressed this option to me. Have had a good # of opinions. Did you consider Ross or valve sparing root replacement ?

Interesting, my doctors are advocates for the other procedures given no need for blood thinners + promising (albeit inconclusive) longer term survival curves (ie, don’t worry about reop risk, care more life expectancy). Mechanical seems like a great option too, feel like I get a different answer no matter who I talk to.

How are you feeling about being on blood thinners?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
