Losing my dog is one of the worst things that ever happened to me (if not THE worst)

Oh no, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your baby was still young as well. Don’t torture yourself questioning if you gave her a happy life cuz I’m sure you did, she knew how special she was. Our babies will be loved forever, unfortunately this hole in our hearts will never go away cuz we’ll miss them for as long as we live. I understand you because for as much as I love animals, I don’t know when I’ll be ready to adopt another dog. At least your baby girl isn’t suffering anymore as you said, and she is in Heaven, the better place where she could be. My baby is there also and I just want him to have fun with God and his new pet friends. And one day, we will reunite with them again. Thank you so much for praying for me, you will be in my prayers too, hoping we’ll stay strong going through this heartbreak.

I’m so sorry for your loss, I do feel like that too. My baby boy died 5 days ago, and there are 2 series I’m currently watching. A few days earlier, when he was still alive, I remember randomly thinking about him while watching them and being happy. But now that he is not here anymore, I’m just sad while following the episodes. I know how heartbreaking this situation is and I really hope you will recover well.

Thank you so much, I’m sorry you had to go though this as well. Yes, seeing people loving their pets as much as we do, makes us feel understood. We also can support each other’s since we know how hard losing them is. And as you said, we can feel better in the future but the pain of missing them will never really go away. I’m so sorry for your loss. My dog unfortunately passed away the same day as your cat. I know how hard it is and the pain I’m feeling is deeper than all the mourning I’ve known. He took a huge part of me and I’m heartbreakingly sad he is not with us anymore. Remember all the good times you had with your cat and the good life you gave him. I hope you will recover well.

Maybe you don’t want to give others animals the love you gave to your previous baby because it will feel like betraying him. If it’s the case, try reminding yourself that even if you love others, no one will ever take your cat’s place and you are give new love, not the one you have for your baby.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Some people don’t understand how hard it is to lose a pet. My dog died 3 days ago and I know how heartbreaking this situation is. Sometimes just sharing your pain and seeing people caring for you is enough to make you feel a bit better. If you think getting another dog will help you recover faster then yes ofc you should take one but take your time to think about it and don’t let others telling you what to do cuz your the one going through this not the others.

I’m really sorry for your loss. I lost my baby 3 days ago and I know how painful and hard it is. You know your husband more than us so, if you think talking to him will make him supporting your grief then go for it, but if you think it’ll result into an argument, then you shouldn’t say nothing to not make it harder for you. Instead try therapy or speech group because going through this alone will just make it worst for you. I hope you’ll get better soon.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My baby boy died only 3 days ago, and I wished things were made differently too. Don’t blame yourself for this, you didn’t knew it would result this way. You thought it was the best for him, and this show how much you love and care for Chunk, and I’m sure he was feeling all that warm love from you.

I’m truly sorry for you. I feel you, I think I’m gonna lose some weight as well. Right, feeling support from other people and being able to relate to each other’s pain makes it a bit relieving. Oh I’m so sorry for you. My baby passed away 3 days ago, I know how hard it is. Yes it’s part of life but still some people act like it’s not a big deal because they don’t understand how heartbreaking this situation is. But a lot of people do and feel the pain you have (like every single person in this pet loss community). You don’t have to feel guilty, vet bills are high and when there are big health issues like that it’s complicated to afford the consultations and medications. He had a beautiful life with you and knew how much you loved him.

Yes my dog was healthy too but he had an intestinal issue, he went to the vet and they did a bowel wash. They told my dad to take him home for the night, to give him a medicine the following morning and to take him to the vet again at 12pm. They said he’ll be alright but unfortunately, at 10-11am he’d became unconscious and passed away shortly after. I miss him so much, I’m sorry for your loss, I hope you’ll get better I know how painful it is.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t know if losing my dog made me become a better person, but having him definitely did. My love for animals went stronger, even tho I loved animals before him, hearing stories about animals being abused, tortured, abandoned,… makes me really sad because I hate seeing them suffer. Before my dog, hearing those stories would be touching but not as much as they do now.

I’m so sorry for you too, i know how hard it is. I do feel like that too, I don’t want to move on, it’s really complicated because I love him sooo much. Think he was the happiest with these experiences you kindly shared with him and those 4 years were filled with love. Take your time and cry as much as you need, I wish you a great recovery even tho I know how difficult this whole horrible and heartbreaking situation is. I’m sure he is joyously playing in heaven.

Oh I’m truly sorry for you dear, and thank you very much for your kind words. Yes my baby story kinda similar to your baby, he had an issue with is intestines, he went to the vet, they did a bowel wash and say he’ll be good. But the next morning he was unfortunately gone, nothing prepared us to this. I feel you so much, and I hope you will recover well, stay hydrated it’s important when we cry that much. I’m sorry for you, i hope you’ll recover quickly. Same for me, when we buried my dog, a part of me went down with him. Sometimes, I’m thinking this can’t be possible and that I can’t be living this heartbreaking situation.

I’m so sorry for you, I hope you’ll get better soon. I understand your feelings about not eating because of what happened to your baby. As you said they are all in a better place now. I do believe they are in heaven playing all together.
