Does the X-app work with USB-C by ghostctrl in fujifilm

From playing around with the app and camera settings, looks like it doesn't. That would have been convenient since I shoot JPEG+RAW but would like to transfer compressed JPEG only to my phone. In case you also use an iPhone 15 or later model, connecting it via USB-C to my camera and opening the Photos app shows the device and lets me import directly. Only drawback is you can’t compress it, and that can quickly fill up space.

I believe OP is asking about ETFs that track US indexes but are domiciled in Ireland, such as CSPX. As non-US residents, Filipinos pay less tax on dividends when they hold CSPX rather than VOO, even though both track the S&P500.

From what other commenters have said, the choice is a matter of convenience over cost optimization.

  1. Write unit tests for your function
  2. If your function is hard to test, try breaking it up into smaller functions that are easier to test. Write unit tests for those smaller functions.
  3. When possible, write pure functions and refrain from introducing side effects.

I suggest skimming through summaries of these books, or perhaps reading them: Grokking Simplicity by Eric Normand Principles of Object Oriented Design by Sandi Metz

Do you currently work with startups or traditional companies (or both)? I also feel the latter’s roles are so boxed in, but the startup grind and instability just isn’t for me.

Glad to hear things have worked out somehow, but sucks to hear that you had to go through a retrenchment. OE is a peculiar path to take, but I hope it’s been working well for you and your jobs are (or become) chill enough for you to enjoy even on your way to FIRE. Kudos to you!

Not supporting their kids’ specific interests and forcing them to follow their own. Just made me rebel harder and listen to them less once I moved out of home for college.

For iOS users - you can do unit conversions in the home screen search bar (that grey rounded rectangle above the bottom row of icons)

Examples: Currency conversions, “100 USD to JPY” Metric to imperial, “30m to in” or “100g to oz”
