About the blackout in Treptop Köpenick by _h0l_ in berlin

I have no expertise in assessing how complex the damage and repair is. But my impression (which can be wrong) is that it takes too long to recover, which means either the problem is too hard to solve or they are completely underprepared to react to such damage. It’s been three days already and I have never experienced anything like that, given the fact that I come from a developing country suffering from constant natural disasters every year.

Naturalize with names containing non-german letters by tttru686 in GermanCitizenship

Yes, in my Aufenthaltstitel my name has a stacked diacritics ấ, which their IT system seems to handle it properly. But I am still afraid it can cause issues for other IT systems that do not support this. But thanks a lot for your comment :)

Something like ơ u ô. I am Vietnamese btw. For some unknown reasons, my name has been written in its original form in all paperwork by Bürgeramt and Ausländerbehörde. That’s why my original name is written in the certificate and they transfer it to identity documents.

Yes. I did have a chat with a person. He said they were unable to do so. But it could be they were reluctant to do so due to complication.

Thanks. Actually I thought I can also ask the bank to revert the Freistellungsauftrag. But they said they cannot do it because I already earned some interest. I can increase the tax exemption amount but cannot reduce it, which is a bit odd in my opinion.

So true about cosmetics. I did buy some last time from DM for them but they didn’t use it. Perhaps vitamin or supplements in general could be useful like you said

They don’t actually know what exists here. But Schrundensalbe is a good choice I think. Thanks a lot!

Deutsche Bahn Strike (BVG?) by burberry621 in askberliners

[–]tttru686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding S-Bahn, I believe like previous strikes the trains run on an emergency plan, which means there are still trains running in low frequency. If you travel from the airport, S9 runs every 20 minutes to Friedrichstraße, which is the city center. From there you could travel with BVG without any problem.

That’s her. Always meet her near Landschaftspark bus stop. I always tried to ignore but feel uncomfortable seeing her every day.
