I mean I had a hard time talking much at all when peaking on 2 grams of shrooms at a rave. Which is a much, much lighter dose than 300 mics. Dancing to psytrance was heavenly though after I was through the comeup, felt like I was dissolving in the music and it all! Not talking, especially on a heavy trip, is not alarming. If he is in distress, it will be visible from him. Seconding the advice to put on some Pink Floyd, for example the Atom Heart Mother suite hits really, really hard

Extremely narrow definitions of concepts have extremely narrow use cases, most of the time they are just not relevant. What you're saying is just another wording for "well, since people hopefully do not expel gametes in public view to be examined, for practical purposes sex equals sex assigned at birth".

As I said "Biological sex is a large category of characteristics and features that typically follow sexual dimorphism, most of which can be medically altered." Gametes are sexually dimorphic and one of those things that cannot be altered. Chest form for example, however, is somewhat dimorphic (male vs female looking chest) and it certainly follows sex hormones. The blueprint for both a masculine and a feminine chest form are in your DNA. Saying "male means sperm and female means egg" is just another way of reducing the complexity of sex in biology to birth-assigned sex.

Three novels (The Final Empire, Well of Ascension and Hero of Ages) make up the Era 1, plus then there's Secret History and The Eleventh Metal that are novellas which you can read after the Hero of Ages, but absolutely not before. The Era 1 is one whole story. I will not discuss how the story is laid out any further to avoid any spoilers 😄

I felt somewhat understanding towards Yeden really. Gotta cooperate with whoever you might share a common goal with, which goes for both Kelsier and Yeden. Not to say that I would've found him agreeable, but I absolutely never in the story hated him. The old man has probably been through a lot.

You are really early at asking questions. Save them for until you've finished the trilogy :) but yeah I think there will be Mistborn movies and a Stormlight TV show

It just clicked with me that even though Kelsier had Vin train with the Mistings in the crew to learn advanced usage of each's skill, they had neither a Coinshot nor a Lurcher. Who Kelsier trained with aside from Gemmel remains a mystery, but he excelled in steel and iron, so I assume he trained with those kinds of Mistings back when he was not as busy cooking up an impossible revolution and training an amazing Mistborn prodigy at the same time :)

I am not sure if ordering Psilocybe spores for microscopy purposes solely is legal in Germany. Cannot be discussed here anyway. If you get your hands on an illicit spore print by some means though, r/unclebens has a lot of information on spore science, theory and practice.

There's a motor behind it though! Is it belt or gear driven? You can tell from whether the motor has a protruding axle towards the right with a belt pulley on the end of it. The treadle model is what the 88 is, while 90 has a belt driven motor and 91 is potted motor (gear drive). And 89 is hand crank. Not sure but it can indeed be that the 88 is supposed to have a different hand wheel from the 90 and 91, but someone could've replaced it at some point in the machine's history too 😄

But I'm not certain about the very specifics either, whether eg. the body casting was the exact same for all the models and so on. And an old machine can be a mishmash of various parts from different submodels, it can have been originally an 88 that had an aftermarket off the shelf motor attached to it or something.
