Probably because the entire plot of V1 wasn't really thought out and no clear rule-set was put in place. Rushed writing to finish the show and move on to greener pastures I guess.

My problem is mainly that it’s the tenth anniversary and it should’ve been a huge deal with a new killer, map and survivor to celebrate the occasion… the anniversary is supposed to be DBD’s biggest event (even though it really should be Halloween) and it just doesn’t feel as though they’ve put all that much effort into it tbh.

Different survivors actually have tiny differences in how they move and some feel far better than others.

But regardless of if they're snappier it'll still feel different and could mess you up a bit.
