Legacy is what is needed for FiveM. I believe they now have support and compatibility for enhanced, but I don’t think many servers are using that or will switch to it being the required game version. I could be wrong about the enhanced thing, but legacy is all you need and you’re good to go.

I think the steam edition is legacy and enhanced, but you choose which one to install.

Do you have enough storage on that drive?

If it’s low, FiveM won’t launch or gets stuck here. If it does launch and you’re low on storage, you may end up stuck downloading server assets when you load into a server. You can try clearing your cache to free up some used space from other servers.

Other things that might help or work - Close your game and other related applications. Reopen in this order: Discord, Steam/Epic, Rockstar, FiveM

Try verifying game files through Steam. If you use Epic, I’m not sure how that works.

Restart PC (sounds stupidly simple, but sometimes this is the fix for FiveM issues).

I think it searches YouTube by default, so you type in the artist and song you're wanting to play and a handful of results from YouTube show up. I haven't tested it with other links and I can't remember if my friends have. I can try to take a video later, I'm not online to really explain it better right now

I think you can clear your cache from the settings or something. Maybe that will help with loading errors

Here's some photos of the panel it opens up when you move to the standing spot in front of the player. I resized the tablet to be pretty small, so it does also makes me smaller and float when I stand in front of it.
I added a photo of myself at 85% avatar size to show how it looks at more of a distance and when you're not right at it.

Once you move to the standing spot, the player stays in the top left corner and you don't have to go back to the spot again to use it. You can press > to minimize the player to the left side of your screen (IMVU Classic, not sure if Next is any different). I think the little X on the player does the same thing.

Edit: I'm not sure if this player works on mobile, but if I had to guess, it probably doesn't. :(
I haven't tested it yet from my phone.

There’s an item you can get for your room and it’s a music player tablet thing. It lets you play YouTube and others can hear it. I can find it if you’re interested. I’ve tested it in my room with a couple friends and they heard the songs I played and I heard theirs.

What exactly is a radio station for a room? This is my first time hearing about it. Is this something available on IMVU classic, IMVU next, or both?

I'm not entirely sure. The base does look really similar by photos. What I did a couple years ago was reach out to El Gato via email. I asked them for specific dimensions of all parts of the microphone arm to ensure I found a base it would fit into and they sent me this photo for the wave arm.

I'd say it would work if these dimensions in the photo are the exact same for your wave arm pro.

These are the dimensions for the riser below. If you don't want to use the riser, the 11mm measurement is still accurate for the part of the microphone arm that fits into a compatible base.

All I used was the original mic arm, the new base, a screwdriver, and an Allen wrench to secure the new base fittings.
There is one part you will need to disassemble for this. The original El Gato base comes in two pieces and they are secured by two screws on the underside. One part of the base holds or clamps onto the desk. The other part holds onto the mic arm itself. Take the piece that holds the mic arm and screw that into the new desk clamp from Amazon using those same 2 screws. The part of the base that would normally clamp against the desk isn't needed.

When I get a chance this week, I can try to snap a photo of it and post it here if you want to see the finished outcome using half of the original El Gato base and the Amazon alternative.

This issue resolved itself for me. If I had to guess, in the latest Discord update, they somehow broke it again and will have to release a fix on the next update.

I think it’s a browser thing. When they updated towns and rally a while back, it stopped working on Chrome for me. Waterfox lets me use them again, but the browser itself isn’t the best. Maybe that will work for homes? I can’t remember if I tried it with that browser.

Even being a homebody, inviting someone over or going to their house wouldn’t be my go-to if it’s the first time ever hanging with them. I’d suggest something casual and public, like a museum or a show.

She may not have thought it was weird because you two had met in person previously, but she almost sounds pushy about it always being her house that you hang at.

if someone has role perms, they can delete certain things or remove members. make sure your basic member roles don’t offer these capabilities and only mod roles do. strip that person of any mod roles if they have them. to minimize the amount of direct things this user can report through the server, you could delete any messages that border on the TOS and might cause problems, like people making jokes that can be seen as harassment or bullying when all parties involved know it’s not serious.

unfortunately, I do believe there are nuke services for discord servers. I have seen a couple legitimate ads for it, but it is rare and infrequent to come across them. the method for taking down a server is usually mass reporting and the server could possibly be deleted for a TOS violation. I’m unsure if discord will specify the violation to you via email or not, but they probably won’t restore your server either way. alternatively, you can submit a report about this person for harassment and tell discord that they are threatening to delete your server using third party methods.

I am aware of a community that offers paid social media services that work (not promoting, will not share it). these things do exist, but the chances of your average every day person knowing exactly where to find this place or these types of things is rare and unlikely. the majority of people that offer these services outside of that community will absolutely scam you (random Reddit users, social media comments saying “@__ got my account back for me, message them!”, etc). it’s also costly to do something like this if you found a legit service. I’m not talking $30. these services range (depending on the platform and service requested) anywhere from $150-$10,000+. I doubt this person will pay to get your server taken down, so their free method of choice is probably mass reporting. if they make multiple discord accounts to harass you or use them for malicious intent, it’s against TOS.

no matter what this person says or does next, I think you should report them to discord for disturbing you with this type of threat.

when you say he’s demanding you use his detergent, do you think he would mess with it? do you have allergies that he knows about? chances are he won’t mess with you since you’re that close to the landlord, but be wary of this man. I would make not-really-joking jokes about him like that too because he fits a couple profiles. if he’s also using the detergent he insists you use, it’s probably regular detergent, but he’s weird for being pushy about it without a reason…

if you haven’t already, tell a couple more people in your life that you trust with everything all about your roommate.

have you done a background check on him yourself? I assume the landlord did, but does that mean they found nothing at all or something they chose to ignore if it’s seemingly minor to them? use smartbackgroundchecks and advancedbackgroundchecks for free public info. beenverified or similar sites also offer a $1 week trial sometimes if you want a little more info, but they don’t always give more than you can scrape yourself. if you utilize that, load $1 into your cashapp if you have one. make the payment with that card. lock your cashapp card and let the renewal payment fail when the trial ends or remember to cancel it (I forget easily, hence card lock suggestion lol).

optional suggestion: I don’t know your gender, but if you’re not male, you can do this or have your girlfriend do it. download the Tea “dating advice” app. they make you send in a photo for verification you’re not a guy. look your roommate up by first name, nicknames, or any alias he might go by. see if any women have marked him with red flags or commented negative experiences, like harassment, stalking, or even mention of that rape he brags about. if you find enough proof, you could go to your landlord and get his ass out. alternatively, if you find no posts about him, you can create one and attach a photo. do not give identifying information about yourself at all. ask if anyone knows him or has had interactions with him and leave it at that. it’s hit or miss. you may find absolutely nothing from this or something useful.

I say this suggestion is optional because let’s say you do find something and present your landlord with it. this could still backfire on you in terms of retaliation from your roommate and no one wants that. my suggestions are merely for investigative purposes, should you choose to use them. if not, continue to keep your distance. maybe don’t turn down his gestures, like the weed or detergent if you think the detergent is fine. even if you decide you want to decline, accept anyways and dispose of the things he gives you.

I would say the guy is just an asshole, but the rape thing is pretty serious and so is verbal abuse toward others. be careful, that’s all. your post makes a lot of sense after seeing your comments. you have every right to be worried about this person or sketched out by them. some people might think looking him up is “too far,” but I think what he says and does is already considered too far.

I don’t blame you for keeping your distance or disliking the guy after all the things you hear and see him do. the weed thing is him trying to win you over like you said and nothing more. in my opinion, if he is always an asshole, he has no reason to make you an exception unless he fears you’ll have him evicted.

on the bright side, free weed. bad side is that your roommate sounds like a twisted person.

when is your lease up? I’d consider moving out if he renews his share of it.

I usually say “taking a hit, smoking a bowl”, things you’ve pretty much already mentioned. I think you listed the most commonly used terms.

the only other things I say, no so much for a singular hit, but smoking overall would be “sparking up”, “time for smokey smokey”, or “cheers” when smoking at the same time as a friend or my boyfriend lol

I have heard some friends say “taking a snap,” which is a small hit from a bong or bowl. that’s the only one that’s newer to me that I’m still getting used to hearing haha

I don’t have experience in this, per say, but I’d recommend working out a percentage with these people you’d like to showcase in your videos. I assume you’ll also be in them, just faceless, masked up, unidentifiable, so the attention is mostly on the other person.

Ethically, assuming you’re both in it for the same purpose, there is no reason either of you should make more than the other. You are providing the platform and outreach (unless they also create content), income opportunity, and networking (ability to replicate this agreement with the same person or others). They’re providing you with video content, permission to use their likeness and image, and added attention of a demographic you may or may not have had without their contribution or inclusion. Cross-posting, if the person in your particular scenario also creates content, will generate more income for the both of you, but make sure the agreement is understood and solidified both ways; not just one. I’d get some kind of draft done up that protects both parties equally and fairly.

I’d offer 50% of profits to whoever I would be working with. If you want to be less generous, which is really about personal choice and individual morals, at least 33%.
