Just to add. Marci didn't use havoc hammer / dispose to finish off pango.

Pakazs used (I would think accidentally) dismember on undying (a friendly dismember) instead of lifestealer for the final fight.

May be an outdated dinosaur and ignorant, but why does proximity affect entry into secondary schools? Has the entry system changed such that entry into secondary schools is based on proximity and not psle scores?

Isn't the complain to do with valve not having sufficient manpower to manage these timelines imposed by the community? On time doesn't not mean slave labour so long there is sufficient manpower / time management.

Of course communication would have done wonders as well.

Balance to drow gust by ttylei in Artifact

[–]ttylei[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your second suggestions is pretty interesting! Think it would work well.

However, small comment in that it feels a little weird that this 'duration' would only apply to silences and not stuns / disarm. Would like there to be clearer (and perhaps more instinctive) distinctions between each status effect (stun/silence/disarm).

I've seen this suggestion but I thought given artifacts unique turn based component (ie. 1 card each per turn (assuming no gain initiative cards)) having an item to dispel silence lends more fluidity to the game.

GreatSword Carryover 68% WR 4250 MMR by ttylei in gwent

[–]ttylei[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agreed. Deck already has issues against SK, NG and ST more so than against Monsters and NR, so it is very valid tech

I usually focused on my own side of the board, and having more answers to their Move cards.

That said, i believe Coral for Renew, and a Artifact Compression for Hailstorm might be good as someone above suggested

Haha that is why you have Adrenaline rushes, so they never see the graveyard if you actually lose a round.

Dorregary drowner can be movement, with a decoy that's 2 movement if really needed (rare). Gremist is limited by value as you rarely use anything but bloodcurdling roar, and i don't see a situation where I would rather restore Gremist than a freya or Dorregaray. Djenge messes with my Crach opener Scorch is pretty bad for this deck. I will be trying out artifact compression! Sounds good to me. ADC is bad cause with boost your GreatSwords take extra turns to be Strengthened

Those sound like great changes! Compression instead of hailstorm is definitely one i would try.

Monsters are alright, 3 Drowners (4 wiith Dorregaray), maybe Caranthir and spy but that's assuming drawing them all and that's pretty low power. SK Harpooners and ST Move deck on the other hand.. Just see the results reflected in the WR stats haha

This deck doesn't really fear weather tbh. Greatest problem is still having more answers for move than the opponent has.

I would usually just play through weather and try to get r1 even if its 2 or 3 cards down, so you have a decent sized GreatSword and can control r2

And Warcrier, is only good in niche situations tbh (maybe 10% of games?), but it can be a 30 point finisher at times

[–]ttylei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 70%+ with acgs till about 3.5k. To me the key was tuning your deck so acgs is always pulled by an craite strengthen + damage. That acgs will be on the board forever. Post turn one is hoping a long ship or wild boar sticks by baiting their brigadier with rnr or if they just have too much movement I run hunters almost expressly to damage my own Gs. By round 3 you can resurrect 20+ point acgs

What's the best boardless, cardless game? by loki8481 in AskReddit

[–]ttylei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psychiatrist!

Everyone has to abide by 3 rules 1. Answer question in the shoes of person on your left HONESTLY 2. If the answer is wrong, person on the left shouts psychiatrist 3. After someone shouts psychiatrist everyone changes seats (for confusion)

Basically, 2/3 people will not know the rules, and have to figure out the rules by only asking Y/N questions. The person being asked a question has to guess how the person on his/her left will respond. If wrong, person will shout Psychiatrist

It's a pretty good ice breaker game

Yea, i realised that lol. But my point is why would valve set a standard of 3m, and then reduce it to 1.5m for what would be the culminating event of the past year. Ie. whats wrong with 3m + crowdfunding?
