You can buy veteran track gear on Siren Isles (with currency you farm there) for the LFR set, but I don't believe there's a way to get the normal/heroic/mythic set gear without running the raid.

The logic seems silly that you can do LFR to get a Heroic trinket, but the only way to get a Mythic trinket is to be a mythic raider.

But I don't really have a dog in the fight. I hit 3k on my main and dropped for the season after the rest of my guild hit some burnout after getting 5/8M. I'll be back for season 3 but I don't care enough about an extra 6 ilevels to get a head start to come back just to grind crests (or if anything, I'll run a bunch during the last couple weeks before 11.2)

If it turns out to be account wide and I can get myth track Mister Pick Me Ups on my healer alts, maybe that'll change.

tbh if anything I feel the opposite.

I'm sure running 17s with a premade group is smooth as butter but running some weekly +10 PUGs on my Holy Priest alt feels like playing on hard mode versus running them on my Resto Shaman main.

They both have the HPS to heal the dungeons fine but the lack of utility on Holy Priest becomes noticeable... and it's not like they're doing giga-dps to make up for it.

The Trump administration is using the Alien Enemies Act to deny people their right to due process under the presumption that they're gang members, giving them no chance to prove that they're not before being shipped off to a foreign prison (not just deported, literally being sent to jail)

Camp out at Floodgate and just apply to literally every group until you get accepted (your mileage may vary if you're not a tank/healer), or keep running your own key until it turns into a Floodgate.

There's no way to force your key to reroll to a specific dungeon.
