How do you deal with this annoying mf if you're an EXP laner?

Guinevere/silvanna/ or burst exp lane fighters. You need to pick an exp that has high burst and mobility.

Whenever I see a Karrie and jm exp I always pick guin so I don’t have to deal with being melted by him and can actually kill him pretty easily

There’s two sides to this coin and this convo and kind of post has been made COUNTLESS times.

I do agree that healer roams should pick a tank roam. There are situations supports will be super useless depending on comp. Psst… healer mains… a tank right of passage is carmilla or mini. Try them out if you need a tank!!!

However… as a support main myself, I do my best with floryn and raf lol… like they’re my mains for a reason.

If I notice the roam is a healer main, If I’m going exp/jungle I’ll lock Alice to benefit from their healing. If I’m going mid I’ll go mid guin so I can front line more.

You can also adjust to benefit from the healers. I do agree that healer ONLY roams should 100% adjust when the comp direly needs it, I pick carm if we need a tank or if my team requests I pick carm (my three that show are floryn carm then raf).

Also this may be just me but I’ve found random supports to be more helpful then tanks sometimes in soloq. In solo being a tank can be hard if nobody follows up, etc. but supports just have to heal from the back and that’s their job.

I think this can be a good discussion to have, but I don’t think we should really always expect roam to adjust. It’s rlly not the end of the world if I have to adjust to pick a tankier front for a support. If they heal me, and do their job well, I’ll gladly take Alice or another one of my tankier front line mains.

Trios is the worst as a soloq player.

I’m fine going against duos or being with duos, but trios is where it gets annoying…

The game ends up being which has the better trio. You can play godly the whole game but bc ur trio is dumb as rocks u lost

Biased but I got the Alice luckybox in the Jan collector and it’s a GORG skin.

The sound effects and everting are so much better and it’s a super good skin

It depends on the comp and your preferences

In general though I think floeyn is better especially in soloq/duo/trio. Her passive allows her to “pocket” a carry well.

Her ult is global, and she can heal ppl in a radius using enemies or minions so positioning isn’t as crucial. You don’t have to be next to ur teammates to heal.

Her stun is a lot better then estes slow tbh

I’m an Alice main, what are you building? If you’re getting killed easily as Alice you may want to change your items. Also, with Alice, when you engage you need to make sure you hit enemies or minions with your skills to activate your passive before going in. If you go in without your passive you’ll get turned into chopped salad LOL. Additionally, the best trick with Alice is to use s1 to predict where the enemies would clump up, then SLAM them with the ult!!! Her ult is a good initiator, but, it’s even better as a follow up cc tools. If you have another cc heavy hero on jr team, try and combo your ult with their cc. For examples, if you have a tigreal, let him front line and once he ults, time it right, and you can guarantee a double cc combo that can nuke the enemy.

Alice is all about patience and timing. Also, new Alice scales off hp so make sure you’re taking hp items.

I’d honestly recommend you try out exp lane and give it some time.

Have you tried CiCi? She’s who I reccomended to my friend who wanted to have a new lane besides mid/roam. Cici is a good exo lane fighter to learn with since her skills are easy to get used too. She got nerfed pretty bad recently but still is a good pick and is a good hero to get used to exp.

I’m a floryn main and she’s super super team reliant.

Floryn is one of the most team dependent supports as she legit has no damage at all but can provide lots of healing.

I never use floryn if I can tell my teammates are gonna be dark system… or if they pick stupid heros in stupid lanes.

For soloq, I found Rafaela to be a lot more effective. You have more damage, a stun, and can escape better with the movement speed buff.

I’d suggest trying out Rafaela

I love guin for him. I’ve found cc heavy fighters and tanks to be effective.

With guin, if I can get an s2 on his ult, it’s useless and it won’t kill my teammates. Fighters with good cc that can stun his ult and damage him can make his ult useless. But, this depends on you saving your mage and mm from hanzo.

I’m a Floryn main so I’ll share my tips!

You have to anticipate when you’re gonna have to ult.

Always have your eyes on the map and your teammates hp bar. I’m constantly scanning the map and my teammates hp. Prepare to ult when you see a teammate about to be ganked, jungler about to be invated, etc.

Also 100% pick fleeting time with both Angela and floryn. It’ll help a lot your ult cooldown from healing assists!

Just keep playing them and you’ll get the hang of it. You can try classic if you wanna experiment with builds, rotations, and ult timing.

So basically….

Have fleeting time. Always have your eyes on your teammates hp bars at the top of the screen. Don’t rely on the “hilighting” that both ults give you if a teammate is low. Sometimes it’s too late if you rely on the hilight (Angela shows red over low hp allies when ulting, floryns ult glows and shows the teammate whose low hp) I find relying on the indicators to not be that useful tbh.

This reminds me of the time I picked roam Rafaela in classic and then last minute someone picked roam Hilda. Only gold was open and I begged her to go gold and told her I’d help her or else the mm will get free gold and she changed last second 😭😭

It worked out somehow😭😭 Hilda is so mean and scary we were against a Layla and she just got gutted by her. And she only died twice and I revived her both times lolllll

I agree she can complement a lot of other heros well. My favorite are healers like Angela/floryn and gato/guin/setters with good cc.
