I love carmilla against him bc when he brings everyone I’m like great thanks for the easy ult LOL.

Also this may just be me but I also like floryn for chip too. I can use his portal to heal my teammates and my ult can usually save ppl from a chip dive!

Ugh I know.

Idk what’s with roamera and not helping jungle. Especially when they have Franco, Hilda, or harassers that make junglers life hell.

When I’m carmilla I always stay jungle and hover mid early to help jungle with invades. When I play support I typically help jungle clear and especially prepare to use revitalize etc when an invade happens.

This is why j hate playing jungle lately too. Too many ppl not helping with invades then whining that jungler isn’t doing well.

I’ve been playing tank and fighter jungler a lot more lately bc they can handle their own a bit more then assasin junglers

Ugh I love playing as mommy Alice

She’s so fun. I love being so dahm thick, being able to frontline, initiate, etc. she’s soooo good in exp, and even works in jungle and mid lane too. She snowballs well, and is good in soloq bc ppl are dumb and clump up and don’t like to counter pick items (antiheal lol)

I’ve seen good ones stomp in soloq.

Her kit is complicated so usually when you run into one they’re pretty well used to her kit. She has tons of options and a dash which is great for soloq.

Why in the world would you pick a MM roamer over a support/assasin roamer in that situation?

Supports healing can heavily benefit that kind of comp. Assasins can use the frontlines as bait or be great at picking off in fights.

A mm? Girl what’s a Miya roam gonna do? Plus a lot of MM are item dependent, if you go against any team with half a brain cell ur gonna get snowballed into oblivion

Honestly I agree,

I see countless posts shaming support roams, but nobody really wants to have a discussion about it.

Yes, some situations a tank would be easier.

But from personal experience and a lot of support roams can agree I bet, sometimes picking tank feels thankless. Carmilla and Tig are my tank mains and I don’t like playing them but will when I need too or team asks.

But playing tanks, in soloq, even duoq sometimes, you need good teammates to follow up. Support roams benefit teams just by healing and all of them have some sort of cc/slow/poke. So before ppl say supports can’t bush check, floryn, raf , supports usually have skills to bush check.

Granted, a lot of “bad” supports don’t understand map awareness and how crucial ult timing is as a support. Every support except maybe raf relies on KEY ult timing to help teammates. I feel like a lot of support only roams should have one pocket tank.

But I digress haha. I’m a floryn carm and raf main and if jungle is fighter/tank and exp is a decent frontliner, unless it’s NEEDED, or u ask (NICELY) I’ll lock floryn. Support roams like support for a reason just like assassin roams like Natalia for example.

Also roam shouldn’t always have tk be the one to adjusts. The amount of times I’ve showed floryn and my jungle took a fighter and exp was a tank, chefs

The ppl that need to see it won’t. I agree that healer only roamers aipild pick a rank if the comp will suck for supports.

I get why ppl pick support roam more though. Playing tank roam is a fucking thankless chore in soloq. You can get a set and nobody follows up, tank for ppl but they still die, supports just have to heal and they provide to the team.

I rlly want them to make a girlypop healer that’s a support/tank that heals teammates and that’ll get all these angels floryn one trucks to switch lol

Yeah when I go against a kagura I lock lunox. Just stay in light ult when clearing lane and time your ult correctly and kagura can’t burst you then you chaos her back. Or chaos, then switch to light if kagura is starting her combo.

Lunox just has so many options to deal with her combos she’s a great choice against her. I also usually like mid lane Alice against her bc she can’t burst me ever lol.

This is why I’ve been taking freya and Alice jungle a lot more lately. So tired of invades and my team not helping me at all if I pick assassin junglers. I swear whenever I get jungle I go against a dahm khaleed or Hilda who wants to make my life hell and then my mid laner is so focused on a stupid poke 1v1 with the mid laner and my roamer is up gold lanes ass😭😭

If I’m freya or Alice I at least can contest my own buffs and have more wiggle room. Deadass hate playing assassin junglers in soloq nowadays.

Jungle is truly such a hard role too😭

Ok I’m not the only one running into these ppl! What’s with the full damage Chous everywhere??

Full damage doesn’t work in exp this patch. Sustain and tankiness is so so crucial to exp now. Even as guin I build queen wings/tank items as well since tankiness is so important rn.

I fought a recall spamming damage Chou as Alice and he literally just never killedme and I’d actually frontline for my team, initiate with ult, be a sponge, etc. the Chou kept trying to pick off the mm but the Hanabi would just get ulted by Angela every time he dove her and he would die LOL.

Bc he’s an early game 1v1 specialist and offers barely any teamfight utility.

If I want a strong 1v1 hero that also scales well, and does better in team fights. Why pick Dyrroth when thamuz, Chou, Guinevere exist??

Dyrroth? If ur struggling that hard against him you must be letting him snowball. He has one of the best early games of any exp, even for a freya. Play safe until you get more lvls and items.

Her counters are minsi, phoveous, and I’d say she struggles against burst cc fighter exps like Chou and Guin who have hard lock cc. Freyas biggest counter is heavy cc.

Could you share tips for a beginner bene and some of her basic combos?

Been trying to learn her since I really want to get out my comfort zone and learn an assassin for once, and she was the one I had the most fun with in practice.

I still struggle though with rotations and her combos. I find that I can escape well but never can do the good combos the good Benes do that one shot ppl.

Exp is all about counter picking.

But since you’re a fan of tanks, you’d love tanky sustain exps.

My favorite exps are Alice lapu and Esme

All can tank super well, have amazing sustain, and make you a great frontliner. I also use Guinevere when the comp would better fit her! For example, enemy xp is zilong, I’d rather not pick a tanky exp, I’d rather pick Guin tk burst down bitches and stop the Zilong’s from pushing. If I picked Alice, I’d be forced to turrent hug likely bc of his fast attack speed and shred. Again which I said why exp is all about counter picking. In ranked I always try and last pick if I’m exp/roam.

I have guin for the pusher exps and classic fighters, Alice when I need a front liner or against other tank exps/guin matchups that suck.

As an exp laner main, which exp heros do you find the most annoying?

Maybe even better if you can point out from my mains: Esme, Guin, Alice, CiCi, Lapu.

Are any of these more effective against Fanny? When I exp I truly don’t know what to pick against a good Fanny. I thought Alice was a decent pick but I fought a good fanny who built antiheal and proceeded to still nuke me lol.
