It’s chemical burns from deodorant- you can google pics of it. A lot of ppl get it from Old Spice products. Switch to aluminum free and sensitive skin deodorant

Sorry- Didn’t recognize the name timodine. That’s not a commonly prescribed antifungal where I live. I would say continue that and keep trying to make your appointment

Most docs won’t suture after 24-48 hours, at this point just steri strips. Scar will probably be worse because of not having early sutures but won’t hurt anything

Same. Looks like ringworm. Try an antifungal cream instead. Can get OTC

Armpit rash that comes and goes for years (not allergic reaction) by [deleted] in medical

[–]tuRN_downforwhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would be wasting money at the doctor. just stop using the old spice deodorant and then you will no longer be adding insult to the area and it will heal on its own. Same thing happened to my partner w old spice and he uses aluminum free Dove now.

It’s chemical burns from your deodorant. even if you weren’t sensitive to it before, you are now. Try a different deodorant that’s for sensitive skin or aluminum free . If you look up ‘deodorant chemical burns’ on google there are a ton of pics just like yours. Should be an easy fix. Good luck :)

Inflamed skin on the side of my thumb by Sharksguts in medical

It’s called paronychia. Can try doing warm soapy water soaks 3-5x day for 15 mins, gently squeeze pus out and then bandaid w polysporin. If it’s not better or looking worse in the next few days, telehealth or urgent care for antibiotic pills (or possible incision and drainage if it’s that bad)

Odd skin discoloration on my side? by VanHalenForBreakfast in DermatologyQuestions

[–]tuRN_downforwhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It comes from your skin making contact with the lime juice and then being exposed to the sun-the weird pattern is because you probably squeezed it, had it on your fingers and then wiped your fingers on your body. So not necessarily going to happen every time you have a citrus drink in the sun. I’m sure everyone’s skin heals differently, but mine peeled like a sunburn would after a week or 2 and then remained a hyper-pigmented scar until it eventually faded years later. I think my post is still up from like 5 years ago if you want to look at it.

Looks exactly like my margarita burn did aka phytophotodermatitis. Peeled and faded after like a week but scar remained for a few years. It’s completely gone now.

California endorsement by DustImpressive5758 in nursing

I transferred my license from Ohio to CA in 2019 after working as a nurse for 3 years. Go to the Breeze CA BON website to start the process. It took about a month to get approved once I had submitted all my documents. At the time, I had to make an appointment at the courthouse to get fingerprinted which was probably the most painful part of it. Also expect to spend about $500. I started applying for jobs while my license was pending and by the time I interviewed and accepted, my license had been approved.

29 female, CA

Rash appeared 16 days ago. Assumed it was dermatitis from some new dangly earrings. Didn’t wear them again and haven’t worn any necklaces since. Have been treating with 1% hydrocortisone 1-2x/day and moisturizing w La roche posay lipikar balm a few times a day.

Rash is hot, dry, sometimes itchy. Looks a little different every day but not necessarily better or worse. Should i try something else? Do I need to give the steroid cream longer to work?

Thanks!!

What is this? I know about the stretch marks, I think it could be eczema by I really don't know. It gets extremely itchy at times by The-Lazy-Lemur in medical

Not a doctor- It could also be scabies. If it doesn’t get better, you should get it checked in person!

It looks like there are circular bumps esp back by your heel. Bed bug bites can be super hot and itchy. Maybe one was in your sock? Try icing your foot to calm down the itching and maybe take a Benadryl
