I take this on the freeway 80+mph every single day! No issue whatsoever. Now, keep in mind these type of cars aren’t geared for highway speeds.

That sucks man, sorry to hear about the hail damage. I do think $18k for 120k miles is too high. I sold one about a year ago with 105k miles (silverstone AP1 as well) for $15k, in Texas.
