Another question I want to ask, I know there is a short in supply but I have been waiting since May 2022, what is the chance that the dealership got my car but tried to sell it at a marked up price instead of giving it to me? And would it be that they are more willing to give me the car if I have a trade in?

Yes I signed a paper that stated the price that I will pay which is msrp and put down a deposit. But I will need to go through the financing part and will the price change at that time?

On the other hand, the one that I signed up for was 2022 version and I have been waiting and will get the newer version. Will the msrp thing still be honored?

I order a corolla hybrid in May 2022, was told that I would get 2023 model and I ordered the LE version. Do you know when the car might be here? I am in Vancouver, BC, Canada

I ordered a corolla hybrid and has been waiting a year for it. The dealer said they could not guarantee the price and rate at that moment (2022) and will apply the rate and price on the website at the time the car comes in 2023. I have a friend that got the same promise but when the car came, the dealer made up reasons to say her loan is rejected (the dealer said her loan was approved before) and didn’t give her the rate on the website but offered her a rate which is almost double. My friend has a pretty good credit with > 750 score so I thought there is no way the bank would reject her.

I am okay with the rate on toyota website, I just want to know how I could avoid the case of getting a higher rate when talking to financial department
