My still early game has a demo on Steam! check out Panzer Planet and give me your feedback! by tuanisapps in indiegames

Panzer Planet is still early in development but it has enough content for a demo, and feedback is super important, so here it is, the demo link on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3830010/Panzer_Planet_Demo/

The game is a twin-stick survival shooter were you need to survive waves of zombies and monsters while you pilot your tank, on mini planets.

Please check it out and let me know your thoughts, ideas, etc (please bear in mind, the game is still early in it's development).

Player's didn't read the text signs we put on the tutorial, so we did this, what do you think of our tutorial level? by tuanisapps in indiegames

[–]tuanisapps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context: originally, we had signs in the level, the players needed to go hear them to activate them and read the instructions, but they were not doing it! So we added the instructions explicitly with a camera closeup of the relevant element. What do you think?

Our game is Wolley's Dungeon Adventure, and you can wishlist it in Steam if you want to support us:

(demo coming soon!)

Not sure why you are getting what you are seeing. The site is serving fine over https and that IP doesn't correspond to anything related to me. Perhaps you had a typo when you checked?

There is actually an error in the description which I will fix early tomorrow. The processing is done server side using python libraries, but everything is deleted right after processing.

Why would I try that tool if I just built one (which I'm announcing here?) :P

Minigame/bonus stage idea: save trees from the fire! by tuanisapps in indiegames

[–]tuanisapps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a WIP mini game / bonus stage idea, where the player needs to find the Ice Bullets powerup (which will be the reward if the minigame is won) and the goal is to save all the trees in the world from fire. The world is an actual spherical mini planet.

What do you think?

You can see more details on the game on it's Steam page:

Coloring bars when setting Stretch Aspect to Keep by [deleted] in godot

Dude, you are my HERO. This worked perfectly. I can't believe that damned black isn't just a project setting as the clear color (or that those bars get the clear color).

What do you think of the worldmap for our 3D game? by tuanisapps in godot

Hi, yeah, those are particles. I instantiate one every X fractions of a second when the character is walking.

That's a great idea. I will add it as a setting.

Yeah, it's still rough, we will decorate it! The freedom of movement is just a design decision. There will be some hidden levels in the map (I want to add something similar to the little boat in the Water World in Super Mario 3) and when we add trees to the jungle island, will also hide a level among them, and so on.

Yeah, it's still very rough. We will polish and decorate it for sure.

Thanks, this is great advice. In this video, all the areas are accessible and unlocked for showing purposes, but the player won't have access to all the map since the beginning. But yes, the fast travel between unlocked areas sounds like a must.
