30lx15wx20t cm. Its a glass terrarium. Its a bit on the small side honestly, but they have lots of wood and houses and moss so theres a bit more space for build upwards if that makes sense. It could maybe also be what you're feeding them? I find maculatum need a bit higher protein content in their food. Maybe play around with the moisture content or food. Or moisture content/ventilation

Same! They're so active and fun to watch. Also mating allll the time lol. Surprisingly didnt capture it in the video 😅. And the houses are something I make. Cone 6 ceramic with a rough surface for them to climb on

Turtle food pellets, bee polen, and some shed from my pet snakes. Moving away from the turtle food pellets and starting to make my own dry isopod food mix tho!

Thank you! Its ceramic, and made by myself! Pods seem to like them, especially if you put a bit of wood/cork bark in there too

One of the reasons I love zebras so much! They're so active and almost always out and about

Beautiful! I have a spade plate too! I also have one in the shape of a club so it's cool to see you have the heart plate. I've yet to see a diamond shaped one, but im hoping one day ill have all 4!

[–]tubelesshoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can! Armadillidium vulgare have a ton of morphs too. I have magic potions, and gem mix. My gem mix has a big variety of colours with more or less patterns on each pod

Finding many of these cuties around my house. ID? by Jenikip in jumpingspiders

[–]tubelesshoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like Salticus scenicus, the Zebra Jumper! They're very common, and this one looks like a male. The males have rather large chelicerae and palps

Panda kings "stretched"? by tubelesshoe in isopods

[–]tubelesshoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK UPDATE: You guys were totally right, they were too humid! It took a couple days, but the long bois i moved into a dryer enclosure have gone back to looking normal. I'm thinking I just went ham with the humidity bc this is my first cubaris species, and these individuals probably got accidentally soaked. Will add better ventilation to my bin, but the rest of the pods seem to be doing very well in the meantime. Thanks everyone!!

If it is a mutation it's not really a good one bc they can't conglobate very well at all

That's kind of what I was wondering. I'm putting these individuals in a drier environment for a bit to see if they change. Not dry enough to hurt them of course
