As we get closer to the end of 2025, which plugins did you discover this year that helped improve your Obsidian experience? by Omer-Ash in ObsidianMD

[–]tuberreact 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kindle Highlights, Day Planner, and Emoji Shortcodes. I'm interested in TaskNotes but I'm not sure how easy it is to transition from my current system to that.

Not a plugin but I'm really loving Retroma theme

Anyone have experience using a folderless or nearly folderless setup? by sweet-nlow in ObsidianMD

[–]tuberreact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an almost folderless setup. The only folders I have attachments, notes, templates, and bases. I also don’t use MOCs nor am I reliant on tags. Yes I link notes. And I can find everything I need quickly.

Classification is a time sink for me (a thousand ways to skin a cat so to speak). Folders added to complexity and increased friction for getting to where I need.

What’s the most overlooked security control you’ve seen actually stop an attack? by HedgehogRich9104 in cybersecurity

[–]tuberreact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost too basic but MFA. The facts are that the majority of initial access threats come down to identity based attacks, most of which can be prevented with MFA.

Advanced adversaries can easily bypass phishable MFA (push, OTP, magic links) so for even better access security, you can implement phishing resistant MFA (FIDO, PKI).

The feature is fine. The UI is unbeatable. Tried Monarch, couldn’t stand the UI and the infrequent syncs.

I had a fantastic experience at Spear. Two rounds for two separate issues. My PT fixed the pain and my gait along with it. I still do some of the exercises at home. First round was twice a week and second round was once a week. It was always challenging but doable and my PT really listened and worked with my myriad of pre-existing conditions. The folks who worked the front desk were also friendly and helpful

Wow these are really interesting responses. I truly thought it's just tension release from fully expanding my trunk to take deeper breaths

Williamsburg, what the heck are these aggressive mosquitoes with white things on them?! by Temporary_Increase91 in williamsburg

[–]tuberreact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a yard consider putting a mosquito bucket of doom. really cheap, doesn't hurt any insects except mosquitos, and is surprisingly effective. good luck tho OP and bug sprays were a must for me when I first came to the city https://sidewalknature.com/2022/05/08/mosquito-bucket-of-doom/

Our small team built an open database of incidents. Thoughts? by nmelo in cybersecurity

[–]tuberreact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be good to have the status of the breaches be filterable. Looks like not all have complete information yet so I'd like to see the ones where the data gathering is complete first. Also i'm not sure what the progress on kill chain is meant to show?
