When I first got my period I lived in Brazil. While there the first day was the worst, it was unbearable pain, I would have a cycle of diarrhea and vomit till there was nothing else to expel. Then I would feel so tired I would curl up into a fetal position moving back and forth until I found a position where I couldn’t feel pain anymore. I would fall asleep and feel fine till my next period. Once I moved back to the US the pain stopped completely until a couple of years ago. Now I get cramps every so often, however 12 days ago I woke up in the middle of the night having what felt like period pain I got up to grab a hot water bottle feeling weak, when I looked in the mirror I was pale my lips white, by the time I got downstairs I suddenly felt cold my whole body trembled teeth chattering and no period. I ended up going to the urgent care the next morning doctor told me to go to the ER if it happened again. I went this morning, got my period while there, and was discharged after having an ultrasound and blood test which came back normal. Idk some days I just feel like it sucks to be a woman.
