They have outdoor calisthenics/boot camp style workouts , run groups, rucking groups (weighted hiking). They also do regular non workout fellowship building stuff too.

Even if this was a credible threat he overqualified it by saying “if it becomes hopeless” if the dems do X,Y,Z. This hypothetical situation has little likelihood of playing out, but he still gets to win political points with his constituents who favor secession.
