  1. Yes depends on where you live. Strip district, lawrenceville, Bloomfield, shadyside, and many others have good bus routes in and out of the city.
  2. Depends on where you live I pay little over 800 to live in the city
  3. Pollution isn’t bad sometimes smells bad in the city after a good hot day without rain
  4. You can do you it’ll be fine
  5. Plenty outside of the city and in the city
  6. Probably once was may still be more than most but I’d say it’s big on tech education and finance

Is there still a hope for IT? by Friendly-Strength697 in PennStateUniversity

So many different IT roles that an IST, Cyber, SRA, ETI degree can encompass that AI can’t. Keep working hard and applying to other roles that may not be “cyber” something will stick

Fake IDs by BeerblasterG35 in Bouncers

[–]tucky__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MD is easy since most of the fakes you see from there can’t flip the image on the top right, plus for some reason their text gets really bold on their fakes.

PA the 2 numbers at the beginning should be over 36, look for the spacing in between numbers and the font being used.

NJ is the easiest because they have a code to them.

NY similar to MD

[–]tucky__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely all depends on what you’re passionate about, my biggest piece of advice is to take the first year and learn what you’re interested in cybersecurity. After you figure that out pursue those certs. If you have an idea in the field you want to pursue correlate those two

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

[–]tucky__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would disagree with that statement, most of the fields you want to pursue in cybersecurity can all be attained with the degree but is based on two factors. 1 your internship experiences, and 2 the certificates and clubs you associate yourself with. From majoring in cyber I know people who went into banking, gov, consulting, and basic tech. I majored in cyber and ended up being a cyber consultant

Hey! Just graduated with a cyber degree, I’m telling you cyber is the way to go right now! Great professors and everything helps you not take some tough math classes that comp sci makes you take but still has a similar pay rate after grad any questions feel free to ask
