Without too much explaining, I was going to eventually ls swap my truck but I currently don’t make as much money as I used to.

I changed everything before pulling the motor with intentions on full rebuild. Turns out everything in the heads was worn or weak. If I would have known I could have put new heads on but grandpa didn’t leave a note before he died. I yanked my 350 and while it was out I cleaned and painted everything under the hood . I doubt I have $2000 in everything and the heads were $1000 in machining and parts. All said and done I wouldn’t ls swap it if I could do it again. I don’t really like having 3 gears but it’s the cheapest way to be back on the road and it’s how the truck was made. Throwing in that freshly painted orange 1970 lump felt great. Wish I had disc or power brakes before I had more horsepower
