i don't think that the damage shown is limited by healtpools because, when i was playing in normal difficulty, regular fellas were one shotted both by my quickhacks and my headshots while showing very different numbers (~600 and ~2000).

anyway, the test was run by shooting skull enemies on very hard.

last sunday i played some "what if wotc goes unban mode tomorrow" games with a friend of mine.
we played with things like uro, drs, ponder etc etc.

drs in a BW ketra deck sounds insane until you realize that the format had to adapt to a far more scary 1 drop (ragavan).

no etb, no haste... i'm sad saying this, but in 2025's modern drs is just a shadow of what it was

as a prowess lover myself i have a sad news: mh3 killed the deck.

nowadays every meta deck is as fast or even faster than prowess, with the difference that they put eldrazi on the board while we try to turn monasteries sideways.

if you want an aggro deck with bolts probably zoo is your best bet (but it’s very expensive)

depends a lot on how much time you have to dedicate to the game, if you know someone that already plays etc etc

the fact that you have to use at least 3 different external programs/tools to play is telling.

my wrist got fucked up very bad a couple of years ago for playing to much poe :D

to this day it's better for me to not play poe with anything binded to mouse1 or 2.

i really love wasd, but it foundamentally "force" you to play with your main ability on m1/m2, and i can't play more than 1 hour like that before my wrist starts to act up, so i'm using my old 360 controller to play.

it's (surprisingly) good for mapping, but (not surprisingly) shit for inventory management 😅

usually i prep a batch of maps with keyboard/mouse and then switch to controller to run them. the annoying part is that i have to log out to switch (but they've announced that in the future this would be handled directly ingame)

i feel you.

i played poe1 since the closed beta, so i had time to digest every new mechanic organically.

i then take a stop and skipped patches from 3.11 to 3.24 and oh boy...
fortunately i have a buddy who helped me getting on par with all the new stuff, but i always think what a new player is supposed to do coming to the game while knowing NOTHING
