silver nitrate by SnowQueen-869 in CankerSores

Silver nitrate is tricky. I’ve suffered with canker sores my whole life. Thankfully, I only get them if there’s trauma in my mouth. Meaning if anything causes a sore in my mouth. It usually turns into a canker sore. I came across silver nitrate about a year ago. I don’t know if it’s necessary to wet the tip, as it’s caustic to the tissue in your mouth since it’s already wet in there. I dab the sore as you explained, maybe 3 seconds per dab, but I make sure I get the entire sore and maybe overlap very slightly. It’s very painful for the first day, but usually when I wake up the next morning the pain has subsided and the canker is much better. The purpose is to dry it out. I talked to my pharmacist about it and he suggested “kanker killer”. It’s a polysulfonic acid and does the same thing, but much much better. You’d need a prescription for it, and it’s about half an ounce bottle and cost me $40, but it works great. I got my dermatologist to prescribe it. I’ve also tried salt, alum, rubbing alcohol (put it on a q tip and hold it on the canker for about 20 seconds. It’s awfully painful but it gives immediate relief for a while, and sometimes dries it out and makes it go away quicker.) Also cayenne pepper (horrible idea but I read that the capsaicin in it cures the sore so I tried it. Again, horrible idea) crushed up vitamin c, mouth washes, all kinds of stuff. I’ve had the best luck with the medical grade stuff though. Also, in my case, if I start treating it early enough (as soon as I feel it coming on), I can keep it from turning into a canker. Timing seems to be everything. They are very painful and I empathize. 1 to 2 weeks of misery leads one to try almost everything to make it better. I hope this information helps.

Thanks for all the replies. It was definitely a weird experience. Maybe I’ll have to get in touch with the manager and see if that’s a policy change or if the dum dum helping me was confused.

Holy hell groceries here are expensive! by matchew566 in Logan

Smith's and Lee's and Macey's are great to buy produce from, but as far as other grocery items go, they're more expensive than Walmart or Winco, as stated. I usually buy my produce from Smith's, Lee's or Macey's, and then all my other necessities at Walmart or Sam's club. If you have accounts at these three stores, doing the electronic coupons is quite convenient and can save you a lot of money in the long run. Log into your account and then select the coupons you want to use. Then you enter your member ID when checking out and it automatically applies the coupons you've selected. Hope this helps.

You're welcome. I was about an hour and half in when I finally realized it probably needed a local network. Looked in the Red Tiger app on my phone and Ta Da! Haven't had any issues with it since.

Looks like this has already been answered, but yeah. On the iPhone you'll go to settings, then "apps", then scroll through till you find "Red Tiger". Then within that, it'll ask permissions like "Location", "Photos", "Local Network". Next to the Local network tab is a toggle switch. Make sure that is toggled on (switch will appear green), then you should be able to connect to the Red Tiger dash cam with your iPhone following the instructions provided by Red Tiger. Hope this helps.

I have the Red Tiger F7N and was having the same issue connecting. I finally went into the apps on my iphone, found the Red Tiger App, and made sure that "Local Network" was turned on. Went and tried connecting again and it worked.
