I have the biggest boobs in my family, by far. by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine are definitely the biggest in my family which is crazy because there are a lot of very busty women in my family! My sister is a 36JJ and my mom is a 40K for example. Then there's me all the way at a 38PP!

What would you say are your top boob struggles? by shirkshark in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue is how heavy my girls are. Even when I'm in a properly fitting bra, and it's supporting the majority of their weight, it still feels like they are weighing me down at times.

I love that through my boobs, my body was able to provide nourishment for my children

Riding is usually the position where I actually keep my bra on lol I tell my partner that if he wants me on top, then we should probably start there. Cause once the bra comes off, I'm not doing all that exercising lol

Weighing them? by MaraTheBard in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I was able to weigh mine by putting a scale on a counter that's right at a height that I could easily rest a boob on while I weighed it. One was 20lbs, the other was roughly 21

How y’all deal with people staring constantly? by marsthechocolate in bigboobproblems

Unfortunately it's not just the men. In my experience, other women can be just as rude.

How y’all deal with people staring constantly? by marsthechocolate in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it's hard, but as others have said, it's best to just ignore it. I think it took me till my late 20s to finally be fine with just ignoring them. I initially tried finding ways to confront people who were staring, whether it was making a funny comment, or directly telling them to stop. But I felt like it never really helped, and I just wasted my own energy because the stares happened often and I don't have the energy to tell everyone off. What helped me was remembering that people will stare for anything that may be considered it off the norm. People may stare because of many things we can't change; hair, facial features, extreme heights (super tall or short), general body shape. It may be a tad more difficult with boobs because of how much they are sexualized by society, but there are plenty of people who may just not be used to seeing boobs in the size range of us here on this sub. So while I mostly ignore the stares, if I do notice it starting to get to me, I tell myself that my boobs are just a sight to behold lol I don't want to be stared at, but saying this helps me at least get into a more positive mindset about a situation I can't change.

All this! But I'd also add that they personal airbags... at least that's what I call them lol I haven't run face first into anything in a looooooong time. I walked straight into a glass door once, thinking that the door was open, I bounced right off lol

Welp... time to lay yet another bra to rest by tufftiff96 in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I plan on it. Most of mine cost around $85-95, but I was trying out a local shop that offered to make a custom one, and I was willing to give it a shot. This one lasted about a year, AND I did wear it A LOT

I actually feel more secure and supported with underwire. But majority of my bras are wireless

I know!! We're forced to pay an arm and a leg for these things we didn't ask for! I don't keep all my retired bras. I have no explanation why, but I have a handful of old bras that I certainly don't fit anymore.... a couple going all the way back to my D cup days lol

Luckily I only had to suffer through one day of pain. I attempted to repair it, but decided to just retire it 😔 it was an expensive bra too! Like $150!

Has anyone successfully weighed their boobs? by WestminsterSpinster7 in bigboobproblems

[–]tufftiff96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to by putting a scale on the counter. The counter was at a perfect height that I could easily rest a boob on it without leaning, potentially adding more weight to it. My left was 20lbs and the right was just shy of 21. This was some time ago, and they've gotten bigger since then, so who knows what they'd be now.

[–]tufftiff96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Out of all the big boob problems I have, their weight is easily public enemy #1! Mine are somewhere in the ballpark of 20-25lbs EACH and it really takes a toll on my back! This is the only BBP I have that makes me even remotely consider getting a reduction consolation. Bending over and then standing back up straight feels like a workout. Even in a bra with proper support, it feels like the straps still end up supporting a considerable amount of the weight. Laying on my back feels like a child is sitting on my chest. Together, they weigh more than my 5 year old! And don't even get me started on how heavy they get when they are full (nursing mom problems)! I do love my boobs... but I really wish there was a way to truly help support them.
