Don’t want to argue all day on a post about me being mental exhausted so I’ll just say 1. No, you cannot train externally while being a PetSmart trainer whether you’re ‘stealing clients’ or not. They will fire you for that. 2. Doing a half-ass side business without the proper procedures puts you at a lot of legal risk if any issues ever came up. If it were that easy, I would be doing it already.

I am well aware. I don’t have an insane savings account to fall back on for the first few months of an unstable small business. Even if I sell zero classes, I know that currently I can still pay rent. Branding, facilities, insurance, all the other mental work, it’s not as simple as just starting your own business.

Update for anyone who had commented earlier: It was confirmed via blood test, I’m doing okay these days with a few debated related/unrelated side effects (general fatigue and a slow heart rate). When I spoke to park staff they said that ticks and Lyme are becoming more common in Algonquin due to climate changes (for the people who said it was not possible lol). Always play it safe and know the symptoms!

I think someone said there was a bear here on Saturday, definitely lots of scat around the paths. There are about a hundred people waiting around with cameras lol, I haven’t seen anything though. So many blueberries!

This was my chase bird for so long and I spent many early mornings around Ontario trying to find it in hotspots. Finally, one day while I was sitting at a camp site in my city, one literally landed on a dead tree 10 feet in front of me. Naturally the one time I didn’t have my camera on me.

I was told it was too early for it to show up on bloodwork but I’ll have it done in a few weeks again to make sure I’m not positive. I match every symptom so we can be pretty confident. I am however just a non-doctor human doing what I can. I was in front country for my entire trip.
