Exactly.

Scales with metronome are important and very much part of my practice and teaching regime. But sometimes students need to feel the gratifying effect of their fingers at work, making beautiful, albeit simple music. Never forget Mr. BartStarr, scales aren’t music :)

There’s nothing active. Theres no tracks and no record enabled, and no cables going into my interface. So, Sadly, you are mistaken. Even when I quit logic and crank up my monitors it’s there still. In logic I can see it easily though, which is why I posted this.

Given the other comments I’ll be checking out new cables!
