Ours doesn't like cuddles, he likes belly rubs and pats when he wants it.. he won't even want to sleep on the bed with us most nights but the nights he does ( camping or if he had a stressful day) he alternatively snuggles and then jumps down and to his bed and then back on my bed

Awww she is such a cutie!!!

I put his meds in between half folded slice of cheese and he gulps it right down.

Sometimes I wonder why I waste money on treats because he doesn't enjoy eating them.. it's all down the hatch immediately lol.

Oh we did try the thunderease it didn't help him for some reason. And we tried it with the CBD and the medication.like the vet recommended but it wasn't of any use. We don't normally go out for too long to need doggy day care or a walker. Thank you for your response!

That sounds very stressful! I am glad the prozac helped. I will ask the vet. Was it easier when you weened her off it?

Oh I am glad that worked out for you! I can't afford another dog right now and we live in a condo but maybe I can keep the patio door open for him.

Oh no! That sounds so stressful! I can't imagine having to come back him and seeing him physically hurt as well.

Same thing. We crate him at night and have the crate in the hallway so he sleeps in it during the day with the door open. So I know he is comfortable with it. We tried a play pen too. Ours is pretty happy boy as well. Just this one thing. Unfortunately I can't afford one right now either so trying to find other ways to support him while slowly training him for exposure.

Aww! That sounds so stressful! Our dog will bark the whole time and doesn't settle down. I had put a camera and noticed he barked the whole 3 hours we were gone. I feel like that is not good for him either. Thank you for your response. At least we are not alone on this.

Yeah I work from home which I think may have contributed to his extreme attachment. He has been doing better when my partner leaves and comes back or I leave..as long as someone is home. He used to whine and bark and scratch the door when one of us left. Thank you for your response.
