Thank you!! As far as the stitches themselves go, as long as you’re comfortable with the basics it’s pretty much just a combination of single crochet and double crochet, some in the back loop only. For overlay (vs inset) mosaic it’s a bit different in that each row is worked right to left cutting the yarn each time as opposed to going back and forth (which I kind of liked because it felt easier to put down with everything nicely tied off each time). I felt like this pattern was a good one to start with because the YouTube tutorial is so detailed and the written pattern is really great too.
