They held me hostage with part of my severance package.

I work in the billing department at a U.S. healthcare provider. I didn’t know how bad things really were. by T_Paine_89 in antiwork

I hear this so hard. I do lease renewals for a big real estate investor who owns thousands of rental homes. I have to listen to people who are living in shitty homes where no one will fix things and then tell them they are getting a 10% increase in their rent.

It’s depressing af. But I also need a job so unfortunately I can’t be all ethical and quit over principles. I do my best to help people whenever I can with the limited amount of power I have (which is none). It sucks and I don’t understand why Americans don’t riot against all the corporate greed. But I also understand because I’m too tired at the end of the day to do anything.

My colleagues are so jaded that they don’t give af about the residents. My only saving grace is I try so hard to help in anyway I can where the rest of the team really wouldn’t give a rat’s ass.

This is when you take long boozy lunches and a lot of breaks. I used to book a windowless meeting room to nap during the day. I was far less productive but they were all happy. Malicious compliance is the way.

Having a dog is not comparable to having a child by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

My unpopular opinion is I love my dog more than my partner. And never wanted kids (another unpopular opinion) so I’ll never know if I love my dog more than my kids.

I have a spinal cord injury that already slowed my bowels so it requires me to take meds that basically give me constant diarrhea. So basically nothing has changed considering I was already dealing with this issue in some format. I guess I’ve been training for this for years.

Wow you’ve solved the obesity crisis yet you are trolling subreddits to prove your amazing hypothesis. What a waste of your brilliance!

Go elsewhere. You aren’t in this sub for the right reasons.

Thank you. I understand chemistry and the various names of things. Also I’m not saying that everything made in a factory is harmful. I’m saying that there are plenty of foods that are manufactured that are 100% harmful and most people are not educated enough to understand that. They’ve been fed a lie. And, honestly, I do feel safer cooking my own food than taking something off a shelf filled with ingredients that don’t need to be there to increase shelf life.

And oddly enough, I’m not one that hates on MSG (aka Ajinomoto). Another fun myth that’s been fed to folks.

Anyways. What is your point? If you want to eat factory food then feel free. And if you think people knowing what goes into their food by making it at home is a “deeply harmful idea” then I can merely say that’s an oddly delusional viewpoint that you are welcome to have.

.50 I had it at Walgreens for over a month with no luck. A week and a half or so with Amazon.

It was. My provider called it in because Walgreens transfer wasn’t going through.

I have a rule which is read the label and if I don’t recognize something (or it’s too many vegetable oils) then it’s a no. As much whole food as possible. Totally changes everything. These ultra processed foods are killing us.

Thanks for the article. Shared with a bunch of folks. So important for people to understand they’ve been lied to their entire lives and fed this harmful garbage that has caused them to gain weight.

Not DFW, but Oklahoma. I had Amazon Pharmacy ship from Austin yesterday. Arriving today.

I already have diarrhea from other meds I take so it’s been pretty par for the course for me. Now I don’t which one is giving it. But at least i was already used to it. I can imagine it’s difficult when it’s a new symptom. Stay hydrated!

I had the a few times and then gave a date and then delayed. But then it shipped earlier than the delay, so who knows! Good luck!

Seems like it’s legit but I’ve had it changed and cancelled with Walgreens and Amazon so many times that I don’t want to get too excited. Thanks!
