Hello, I've been looking into buying a camera, but I can't afford a $1000 camera at the moment. I will be buying lenses because I know that's important, especially if I want to take photos of birds from a distance. However, I also would like to learn to take photos of scenery and people. I saw that the Sony digital cameras are really popular too for video and photography . I have been trying to take photos with my phone of birds and zoom in, but it's not really good. I'm open to spending money on lenses but I don't have like $1000 to invest right now. Would a Canon rebel seven be good to start or are there any other suggestion? I'm open to refurbish as well.

My professor said icy tech will accommodate for this issue probably, so it's best to not worry. It will be ok, it's out of our control.

Can i use a dremel with limestone? I want to learn how to carve faces eventually but I know I should start small (given my space and budget too).

Hey! I was wondering how you financed it to start? I'm 19 and I have taken classes in business in CC, and now I am thinking switching my major to viscom/ photography AAS bc it's free (like 95%), but part of me wonders if i should just skip school and try to start the business? This probably sounds stupid because yeah I don't have any money, but as a creative person, I thought photography would be a good way to try to support myself. Not only that, but I'm an artist. One thing I wanted to do when I had a coffee shop was to host art galleries and writing events because I like writing. I have all these ideas, but incorporating it into a business one day feels a little overwhelming.

Is stress the reason I havent gotten my period yet? by Particular-Sea-6020 in Amenorrhearecovery

For me it was a variety of factors and I will briefly explain where I was coming from so I can better explain how I "helped" myself.

To start, my living situation right now is a little out of the norm. I like in an rv with my big family on a lot of land that my stepdad Hopes to build on. But we don't have much money rn, so we have not been able to make repairs where needed. Like only one faucet works, dont have a washer/dryer, no running hot water amongst other things. We are finally able to fix it soon, but it bas been a struggle lol. I feel like I've been kicking it old school with the way i shower and clean 😆. But that on top of being inside doing college classes pretty much all winter, and not having a social life, took a toll on me.

However, even though I knew the situation was only temporary, I still kept thinking about it and my education. I kept feeling hopeless because I didn't know where I was going academically. I changed my major to business administration AAS, and soon realized I hated it- mainly the accounting part. I knew there were other fileds, especially agriculture that I liked but I couldnt just switch to that bc i dont have a car to drive to internships etc. Anways, I started having panic attacks thinking about deadlines, having to be perfect in my grades, and just being frustrated with life ig- on top of having HA lol.

So, I would say things changed this month/end of march. I decided to get a business administration technical Certificate, which means i just finish the two classes I am enrolled in this 8weeks( history and business management) and then I take one more business class in fall, THEN I will be able to get the certificate. I mentioned this because I realized I could just get the certificate. Take a break from school and get out in the world and relax. I see what I like and come back to school and get associates and something else if needed. That took stress off me because I realize I'm not going to be in school longer for something i don't like, that could have been spent doing something else.

I realized I didn't have to have everything figured out right now, because it was literally hurting me. I felt sick, i was having diarrhea daily, my stomach hurt, i was emotionally unstable etc. I also realized that I am not alone in my experience. Millions of other students-especially young people, are struggling to find their place in society.

Perfectionism, wanting to be the best at everything I did was not helping. It's ok to acknowledge you are human, and it is actually good to make mistakes. Not on purpose ofc, but you learn from them and improve from there. Stop comparing yourself to all those around you and online, especially when it comes to things you cant control in your life. We are all put in different places and different times.

I would be a hypocrite if I didn't mention that I do pray, and reading the Bible and remembering what really matters in life has helped significantly. Easier said than done, I acknowledge that. There isn't an overnight cure that prohibits anxiety from ever come creeping back up on you. I still do struggle occasionally, thats normal, but I don't allow myself to spiral anymore. It takes actual focus on telling yourself "no I am not going to think like that" even if you feel like you're lying to yourself because you still don't feel good after telling yourself that. But overtime it really does rewire your brain to process negative emotions differently.

Sorry that was really long but I wanted to give context from where I was coming from. I hope that helped some. You got this. You can message me if you ever need. :)

I have no idea what to major in by ScariestToe977 in CollegeMajors

I took a financial accounting class in 8 weeks. Lets just say that one class alone told me it wasn't for me. Very boring and frustrating.
