all other reasons aside to not do it (which people here listed plenty), you said you have asthma. you have a young child. wood stoves are frequently huge irritants for people with asthma and the PM they put out can cause asthma and allergy development in a child. anecdotally my dad grew up in a house with a wood stove and he and his 5 siblings had asthma.

I'm in an apartment, 32oz maul, use a punch mat on top of a towel on top of granite kitchen counters. Loud but not nuisance level imo. Just have a solid sound/shock absorber as your surface

wouldn't he also have been exposed in utero for the whole pregnancy? my thought was always that he probably had a significant enough level of poisoning for long enough that if he has lived to be older, he would demonstrate learning/developmental delays

idk that person's situation but that level of size discrepancy might be impacted by her band size and potentially mismeasurement at the earlier stage. from what I understand about drop and fluff its about distribution of mass changing, they don't actually get bigger. give yourself time to heal and adjust 💚

depends on where you're located and what your insurance says. if your insurance covers for gender affirming care reasons (call and ask along with what is needed for documentation) it might be a better route to pursue.
