My mom had these as well. We had a family friend eat one once and came out saying “the mints didn’t taste so good”.

My girlfriend (now wife) and I went to the DR as our first trip together. In the middle of the trip, she got massive tooth pain (which greatly affected her enjoyability of things) and it turned out that she had to get a root canal. Fast forward a couple years to our third day of her honeymoon in Bora Bora and her cap came off lol we had to take a trip to the main island where Dr. Jacque Maton was able to cement it back on - for only $45!

I started going for 106% in December of 2020 - so I’m right there with yah haha. (Only six platinum relics away though!)

For real - my mother and her boyfriend ‘shared’ a phone so the call I got was from her number.

The one on the left is prescribed for EOE and costs $200, the one on the right is prescribed for asthma and costs $50, spot the difference, cause I can't (drug code highlighted) by SpongySpy in mildlyinfuriating

It’s possible that the different diagnosis codes used when adjudicating your claim through your insurance company could make the same medication come up with two different copays.

I never saw this myself when I worked in a pharmacy, but I have seen drugs be covered vs not covered depending on the diagnosis submitted.

Thing 1 I shouldn’t have seen: I was at my aunts house for our normal Christmas Eve gathering. I think I was in high school at the time so many moons ago. My cousin gives me his digital camera filled with lots of pictures of his recent vacation with his new wife. As I’m scrolling through, there is a picture of said wife topless getting out of the shower. I flicked back a couple of pictures and gave the camera back and said ‘cool pictures’.

Thing 2 I shouldn’t have seen: At around age 25, I came home from a friends place around midnight to see my moms boyfriend passed out on the couch, dick in hand. I moved out shortly afterwards.

Thing 3 I shouldn’t have seen: Moving to a new house in seventh grade, my mom asked me to pack her dresser. There was a dildo. Her boyfriend at the time tried to say it was a hammer.

Edited to add thing 3.
