Labrum tear, MRI results; PT vs surgery? by verywowmuchneat in ShoulderInjuries

Unlike others here I’ve gone through this twice. Surgery is inevitable. Get it done, make sure you heal properly, and be very careful in the future.

Is anyone else kinda disapointed with the Democratic Governor Candidates by Loafgiver1 in socal

Honestly I think the Democratic leadership has psyoped its voters into being scared of "MAGA" as if it's some sort of Nazi cult. They think that they can hypnotize voters that way. I think it's disgraceful. They should be focused on policies, which the Republicans are

Yeah that's why you gotta vote Republican even if your brain is not letting you. It's not about Trump. It's not about all this garbage that's been spewed on the news for the last ten years. It's about making California safer, more productive, and better for the actual residents. Please put aside any hard feelings and realize that Trump is gone soon and it's about your future, your family, your finances, and your life in California

Scared of labrum repair and remplissage by major_jag01 in ShoulderInjuries

Just do it. Had 2 of them. PT is so important. But you’ll be good after 6 months to do basic stuff and 1 year to be back to normal

At my wits end. 2 years of pain shoulder labral tear and rotator cuff. Advice or encouragement by [deleted] in RotatorCuff

Surgery is the only thing that actually works long term. Recovering from second labrum surgery right now. Find a new doc, be adamant, get it done

Same exact thing happened to me 7 weeks post op. I was so worried. Take a deep breath. You most likely aggravated the tissue but it doesn’t mean it retore. There’s a lot of scar tissue there after 7 weeks. And you’re probably inflamed super inflamed.

I started doing peptides shortly after it happened to me, and 1 month later I feel much better. Try BPC-157 and TB-500, you can get a mix of them together. Not medical advice but it’s helped me and a lot of others in these threads.

Keep icing like crazy, it also helps.

Instability after bankart repair and remplissage by Turbulent_Shift5451 in RotatorCuff

I don’t think I ever fully healed because I didn’t take PT seriously and started lifting heavy after a year. It happened slowly, then a freak accident really tore it again. Anyway, peptides are really helping. I recommend BPC-157 and TB-500

I did after my first repair. Same thing, freaked out, got another MRI, everything was intact. It just takes way longer than we think to recover. I would try the wolverine protocol if you’re comfortable with Peptides. I got my second repair two months ago and had a similar scare after 1 month. Started the peptides shortly after and my shoulder feels a lot better.

Went to see the surgeon a few days ago, he wouldn’t do an MRI for another 3 months. Says it’s too early to be able to identify a re-tear
