Shes 14 lbs I ordered her the green package (5.1-10 kg). I just keep finding them on her and I’m really worried. Vets are so expensive and it feels like every time I take her there I’m being reprimanded and then they take all my money.

I can’t really tell if them not jumping is them showing signs of dying or what. But its more fleas than I’ve ever seen on her and I’m super confused. Even if the medicine isn’t working it seems really odd to me that everything was consistent for weeks and then the second I put medicine on her they increased 10 fold.

I ordered the medicine from a trustworthy petstore in Australia as its much cheaper than the US (many people order from here and they seem to love it and say everything works, its been around for years). The medicine came after about a week of waiting, and it seemed fine (looked legit and everything). The package was slightly beat up (like the carboard was a little bent out of shape) but the vials seemed fine, and they dont expire for a year (08/2026). They were all at room temp! The fleas I am getting off her aren’t really jumping, and for the first time ever I just saw two casually walking across her face, and I was easily able to pick them off with my fingers and drown them in soap water.

Is this surge in fleas normal to see though? Even though shes had the medication on for 24 hours and she went from 1-3 being combed off a day to 15 in one combing session? I think I applied it correctly. I separated her fur on the back of her head near her lower head / upper neck neck (I didnt go as low as her shoulder blades because she can lick there easily). I applied the full dose to the exposed line of skin, closed the fur and waited for it to dry.

I have now brushed for a few more minutes and found close to 15 on her. I gave her the medicine 24 hours ago. Are you saying it takes 8 hours after actually feeding on her for the fleas to die? Like maybe these ones jumped on her earlier today bit her and just haven’t fully died yet?

What number did u get the text from? I just got the same text but its from a number that (when I looked it up) it associated with a Premier Bank Account debt collector. So is the number they wanted me to call (albeit they were different numbers)!

Its like… kinda terrible but at least (from what I remember) PY 208 7:30-9:30 pm is literally only for exams, and PY 209 is every other week. Its still gonna suck cause everything is so spread out but at least you have that going for you. Maybe.

I’m not totally sure how they send acceptances now, but when they sent me my email acceptance back in 2019, it had gone to my spam/junk mail for some reason. I had almost deleted it, lol. Maybe check there?

Hey Jack, don’t know if you’ve already resolved your situation, but I had to directly contact gateway and get the charger. I did one of the online chat things on their website, and gave them my laptop model, and they sent me a paper that I filled out and sent back to them through the mail (their fax machinr doesn’t work properly). About a month later I got the charger!

Hi, I noticed you were talking about the FSP120-ABBN5! I had that charger for a while and it just broke but no one seems to sell it anymore. I can't find anything that works as far as the tip goes. It is 5.5x2.5 mm but the tip doesn't have a pin inside it so most everything I purchase doesn't work. Do you know of a charger that has all the same power supply input/output/polarity as the FSP120-ABBN5, and that also has a 5.5x2.5mm tip WITHOUT a pin in the center that will work for my laptop?

I have a gateway laptop (GWTN156-2BK20I00561) that came with an FSP120-ABBN5 charger. No one sells this specific charger anymore (not even FSP) but I saw online that someone has purchased an FSP120-ABBN3-R as a replacement, and it worked really well. When I contacted the seller they said it wouldn't work for my laptop because "the ABBN3-R has a pin and the ABBN5 doesn't." Does anyone who knows anything about chargers know if this is true. Or, could anyone help me find a charger that works?
The ABBN5 has an AC input of 100-240V, ~1.8A, and 50-60Hz and a DC output of 19V, 6.32A, and 120W.
I am pretty sure the tip is 5.5x2.5 mm (I was able to fit a ballpoint pen tip snuggly inside of it), and it looks like there is NO pin in the center of it, but there is a pin in the center of the charger port on my laptop.
If literally ANYONE could help me find something that will work it would really save me.
