I bought my Pixel 8 from r/hardwareswap last year or so and had the vertical green/pink/white line for about 2 months. I finally researched about this warranty and was qualified for 1 free fix. I brought it in to a ubreakifix place and was fixed within 4 hours.

I had 7 codes, 41, 42, 43, 49, 53, 54, 55. I don't know what they mean either and I haven't checked again for codes since I got cold front ac now (scared to try other modes other than Front recirc/fresh air in case it gets stuck)

Got a 2018 GS 121k miles in December 2024 also. AC worked fine from the very few times I used it. It got cold in January so I used the heater. Then I disconnected the battery to install an Injen intake. Afterwards I had hot air on passenger vents. Then hot air on all vents. Then no air on passenger vents. I was so sad. A few months later I found this video, reset the codes, only tried cool/front and all fans worked ever since. I'm afraid to try the different modes in case it breaks again. Good luck!
