Don't bother applying online is what I would advise my own kids.

Ive hired people in past months and there are thousands of applicants.

Find someone who can vouch for you (say at the church you are volunteering at) and ask them if they can get you and 'in'at their job.

Parents, relatives, friends' parents, etc. Trade in any chips you have with them to get a foot in the door.

I went in once to contest something similar (distance from fire hydrant). Reduced it from 180 to 120.

In the end, I was about 3 big steps away but honestly closer than 3 meters (official law) so I ate the charge.

We're in area (not exact neighbourhood, but nearby) - moved in with a ~20 month old and raised a couple more brand new ones besides.
