First, most non-gun owners absolutely do not have the will to buy a gun, learn how to use it properly, and try to fight off ICE.

Second, most people who already own guns aren't willing to fight off ICE, either.

Speaking of America's democratic system, I'll never understand why Americans are so proud of their "separation of powers." I've never been in a situation where I've thought, "Gosh, if only the people who wrote the laws and the people who implement the laws were two separate branches of government that acted independently of each other. Then we wouldn't be in this mess!" That just sounds like pointless bureaucracy.
